Editorial Guidelines

These are the standards every guide on Antewise Games is written to. If a guide falls short of them, it gets rewritten — that is the deal.

1. We write from real demand

A guide starts with a genuine player question — the kind that shows up repeatedly in searches and community discussions. We do not write a guide because a keyword has volume; we write it because players are genuinely stuck on something and need a clear answer.

2. We verify before we publish

Stats, weapon and skill names, and mechanics are checked against the game's own data where it is available to us, and against official sources and reputable community references otherwise. We cite the game's real terminology rather than inventing it.

3. We never fabricate

If a precise number cannot be verified, we explain how the mechanic behaves instead of publishing a made-up figure. A guide that says "this scales with your skill power" is honest; one that quotes an unverified damage value to sound authoritative is not.

4. Actionable over encyclopedic

Every guide is built around doing something: an exact loadout, a named technique, a step-by-step sequence, or the swap you make in a specific matchup. If you can't apply it, it doesn't ship.

5. Version-aware

Games change. Guides state the patch or season they reflect, and mechanics tied to the current balance are flagged as such. Balance-sensitive guides (tier lists, weapon rankings) are prioritized for updates when the game patches.

6. Updates and corrections

We correct errors when we find them or when a reader reports them. If a game update invalidates a guide, we update it rather than leave stale advice live. Spotted something wrong? Tell us — reader corrections are the fastest way we improve.
