Alpha Turbo: Aniimo's Wind Boss in Nimbus Fields

Alpha Turbo is the Wind-type Alpha in Nimbus Fields, weak to Lightning and Light. Learn its location, its counters, and how to secure the catch.

Alpha Turbo is the Wind-type Alpha parked in Nimbus Fields, and it is one of the first Alphas most players meet — which makes it the perfect teacher for the Alpha rules.

Location

Northeast of the First Spark Sanctum, out in the open grassland. No underground trick, no ice cave — just a giant Wind creature waiting. It is the easy-access Alpha that introduces the system before the locked ones (Geoclaw, Glynsera, Minespine) show up later.

Weaknesses and counters

Turbo is Wind, so it is weak to Lightning and Light (both deal 1.6x). That is great news if your starter is Helion or Lunara — Light counters Wind directly. A Lightning attacker is the alternative if you want to keep your starter free for another target. See the Aniimo Type Chart for the exact rows.

The fight

Turbo is aggressive and attacks on sight, like every Alpha. Bring a team that can both survive its Wind pressure and break its guard — a Break unit is mandatory for the damage window (the Aniimo Combat Guide explains the gauge). Your Light starter covers the damage; add a Heal and a Breaker and the fight is straightforward.

The catch

Defeat it, then you get a timed capture window. The base catch is unreliable, so use an Aniipod Ultra or a Sparkling Cube for a guaranteed 100% catch — and remember each attempt costs 30 Primegy. You got a free Ultra at the start of the game; this is a fine place to spend it. The full rule is in the Aniimo Capture Mechanics guide.

The reward

First clear drops Gust Stone x5 (Turbo’s evolution stone) plus the standard bundle: Glimmer x50, Safaris x500, an Irisalis Petal, and Breezy Plains Lumin Amber x1. Gust Stone is what you need if you are raising a Wind line, so Turbo is worth repeating.

Where it fits

Turbo is your onboarding Alpha. Once it is down, the rest of the 17-Alphas circuit — covered in Aniimo Boss Guides — opens up, including Rookey and Luminelle.
