Ignitis in Aniimo: The Shadow-Stalking Dark DPS
Ignitis is Aniimo's Dark DPS that waits in the shadows for the perfect strike, with Fly Lv.2 and a Forest Form. Here is where to catch it and why it works.
Ignitis is Aniimo No.051, and the official flavor text tells you everything about how it fights: they patiently wait in the shadows for the right moment to deliver a deadly strike. It is one of the best early Dark DPS picks on the continent, and it comes with wings attached.
Element and role
Ignitis is Dark, slotted as DPS in community role listings. Its habitat is documented around Berylline Vale / the Berylline Causeway, the Lv40–47 stretch of the map. As a Dark DPS it pressures the many Dark-weak fights in the mid game, and it is one of the recommended DPS picks against Alpha Irisal.
Where to catch it
Wild Ignitis spawn in the Berylline area. Region is only one spawn condition — open the in-game Aniimo Distribution screen to confirm conditions before you travel, since weather and time of day both shift the roster. Details in the Map and Spawn Guide.
Forms
Ignitis is documented with two forms: its Normal Form and a Forest Form. Forms are a separate system from evolution — a form change alters appearance under environmental conditions, while evolution moves the creature to its next stage. The distinction matters; see the Evolution Lines guide.
Field value: free flight
Ignitis carries Fly Lv.2, one of the mid-tier flight grades documented in community tracking — only three Aniimo hold Fly Lv.3 (Cornet, Fenmane and Erlath), so Lv.2 puts Ignitis in genuinely good company. That makes it a dual-purpose catch: a Dark DPS for combat and a flier for your explore tab. Traversal mechanics in the Movement Abilities guide.
Is it worth raising?
Yes. The pitch is simple:
- Dark DPS — fills a damage slot that Light-heavy starters do not cover.
- Fly Lv.2 — opens vertical routes without a dedicated movement creature.
- Boss synergy — community guides slot it as recommended DPS against Alpha Irisal, and its own Alpha Ignitis is a night-spawning field boss in the same region. Farming one while raising the other is an efficient loop.
Exact stats, skills and any evolution conditions beyond the base form are not fully documented in community sources — check the in-game Aniilog before planning a long-term investment.
Quick tips
- Catch one early in Berylline Vale; the region is a natural stop between Blitzwood and the highlands.
- Keep it in the explore tab when routes go vertical, in the combat roster when they do not.
- If you are hunting its Alpha, set time to night first — the Alpha is documented as night-only.
