Panpanta in Aniimo: The Gentle Water Break Powerhouse
Panpanta is Aniimo's gentle Water Break from Echoback Landing with one of the highest BREAK stats in the game. Here is its line, conditions and value.
Panpanta is honest and gentle — right up until you disturb its nest, when it unleashes astonishing strength. It is a Water Break from Echoback Landing, the proud defender energy makes it one of the most thematic units in any roster, and community data puts its BREAK stat among the highest documented in the launch build.
Element and role
Panpanta is Water, slotted as Break. Community tracking lists its BREAK stat at 100 — second only to Inferlupa’s documented 108, which makes Panpanta arguably the best pure-Water Break in the game. Its habitat is Echoback Landing, the Lv36–40 coast.
Stats and rankings are community-sourced — verify against your in-game Aniilog, since patches can adjust numbers.
How to get one
Panpanta evolves from Popota, and the conditions are the strictest documented for any mid-game evolution:
- Defeat Alpha Panpanta — the Alpha roams Echoback Landing, documented north of the Bloom near the shore, dropping Wave Stone on community tracking.
- Level 39.
- Nighttime — use the function menu’s day/night switch instead of waiting.
- Personality containing both [Instinctive] and [Judicious] — wrong personality, and the branch never unlocks.
Check your Popota’s personality tags before you invest. Personality does not change on its own — leveling and evolving never touch it — so an unlucky roll can quietly close this branch. Full mechanics in the Evolution Lines guide.
Field value
Panpanta carries Swim Lv.1, making it a Water Break that also opens water routes in your explore tab. That dual role is rare and worth planning around; see the Movement Abilities guide. Its gentle-defender flavor also pairs well with the Support side of your team — role basics in the Combat Guide.
Is it worth it?
If your team needs a Water Break, Panpanta is close to the top of the list — but be honest about the cost:
- Alpha-gated. You are not evolving into Panpanta until you have cleared its own Alpha. Standard Alpha rules and the 30-Primegy entry cost are in Boss Guides.
- Personality-gated. Roll badly and the branch stays closed. The simpler alternative on the same line is Popota to Piopiota, which needs a Wave Stone and nothing else.
- Late-ish unlock. Level 39 plus a boss means this is a mid-game project, not a day-one pick.
Quick tips
- Start banking Wave Stones early — Alpha Panpanta and Alpha Tubster both drop them on community tracking.
- Catch a Susuta early as your stopgap Water Break and swimmer while Panpanta matures; profile in the Susuta guide.
- Echoback Landing routing and the Alpha’s area are covered in the Map and Spawn Guide.
