The Argent Strait in Aniimo: Coastal Region Guide (Lv28-32)
The Argent Strait is Aniimo's rainy coastal region (around Lv28-32). Meet Tromber, Tubster and Alpha Tubster, and learn what to catch along the shore.
The Argent Strait is the coast that hums. The official region blurb talks about a huge Aniimo stranded in the shallows and a haunting whale song — Echoback’s calling card. Community map data puts the level band at roughly Lv28–32; treat that as a guideline and check your in-game region marker, since bands can shift between patches.
What lives here
- Tromber — Wind Support, and the region’s celebrity. Locals call them “Singers in the Rain” because they usually only show up by the sea on rainy days. Clear sky? No Tromber. Plan around the forecast.
- Cornet — Wind DPS with Fly Lv.3, the highest flight grade documented. If you want the best wings in the game, this is a name to remember.
- Tubster — sturdy and steady, stands firm against wind and waves along the coast. It has its own Alpha, so you will meet it twice.
- Water lineup — Shelly, Reefish, Coraliz, Cheekie, Wavwal, Bubbeep, Popapus and Gachapus round out the shallows (roster per community habitat tracking).
Elements and vibes
The strait is a Wind-and-Water pocket. If your team has been living on early Fire and Dark starters, this is where the type chart earns its keep — cross-check matchups in the Aniimo Type Chart before you commit.
Exploration notes
- Bring a swimmer. The coast is cut by water, and swimming only works if you have caught a swimming Aniimo — Susuta, Popota, Panpanta, Skippy and Fahloo all qualify. Details in the Movement Abilities guide.
- Watch for the blue icon. A small blue map marker means the weather has brought out a weather variant. In a rain-soaked region like this one, that icon matters.
- Time your Tromber hunt. Rainy or thunderstorm weather only — use the 24-hour forecast behind the sun icon on the map. More in the Weather and Phenomena guide.
Alpha Tubster
The strait’s Alpha is Tubster, a Wind field boss documented in community tracking southwest of the First Spark Sanctum area — the exact marker location is not fully documented, so check in-game before you go hunting. As a Wind Alpha, the same logic that beats Alpha Turbo applies: community guides recommend Fire pressure against Wind bosses, and a Break role to open the stagger window. Full fight framework in the Boss Guides overview.
Before you leave
Bank the regional collection percentage — it feeds the local Branch, and Branch progress is what eventually lets you force Prismana weather yourself. General routing logic lives in the Map and Spawn Guide.
