Exiled Survivors FrostWeaver Guide: Frost Control Build
How the FrostWeaver plays in Exiled Survivors — a frost specialist with slow-based control, skill combo ideas, and Focus passive priorities.
FrostWeaver is one of the 24 characters confirmed in Exiled Survivors’ game data. One thing the game’s own skill text does support: the frost line is real and deep — winter orbs, ice shards, blizzards, freezing slashes and permafrost marks all exist. The FrostWeaver’s specific starting skills, numbers and unlock condition are not fully documented — check in-game; the rest is inference from the name.
What the name tells you (inference)
FrostWeaver sits with the elemental specialists — Pyromancer, FireTamer, ArcticMage. “Weaver” suggests control as much as damage: weaving frost through the battlefield rather than dumping it. The inference: a frost-specialist caster with a slowing and freezing identity. Inference from naming and the game’s own skill descriptions, not a documented character sheet.
Damage direction
Frost, obviously — one of the eight confirmed tags (Fire, Frost, Lightning, Nature, Poison, Bleeding, Curse, Arcane). The frost kit does two jobs: damage and slow. Slow is the underrated half — a slowed horde is a horde your other skills actually hit. Breakdown in the damage types guide.
Core skill combo
- Automatic core: an Orb-line frost skill for range, or a Mark-line skill (permafrost marks exist) for attached damage that follows the target.
- Energy skill: Frost Nova for the swarm-on-top-of-you moment, or a Blizzard-style Cyclone for sustained area control.
- Focus passives: the passives matching your chosen family, pushed to +/++/+++. Frost builds live or die on having their area covered — see the focus passives guide.
Build direction
- One damage frost skill, one control frost skill. The slow is what makes the damage skill work.
- Cyclone and Totem frost lines both cover ground while you reposition — totems count as minions for Minion Focus.
- Do not chase four frost skills; two maxed beats six diluted.
- Gear: frost or elemental damage and area. Weights not fully documented — check in-game.
Beginner-friendly?
Yes — one of the easiest specialists. Slow forgives positioning mistakes, and the frost lines are straightforward to read on screen.
How it differs
Pyromancer is the burn-damage mirror image — faster kills, less control. ArcticMage is the other frost name on the roster; FrostWeaver reads as the control-leaning one. Elementalist can go frost but splits across four elements. Roster context in the best characters guide.
