Exiled Survivors: Mountain Region Guide

The Mountain is the sixth region in Exiled Survivors. The Frost Dragon escort fight, flying enemies, and the anti-air coverage this region demands.

The Mountain is the region that punishes ground-bound builds. Region six of the chain — after the Manor and before the Volcano — it trades undead walls for altitude: flying enemies, escort fights, and the Frost Dragon.

Where it sits

Wilds → Cold Death → Swamp → Dunes → Manor → Mountain → Volcano → Elemental Plane → Nine Circles of Hell. The Mountain is deep in the back half; expect endgame-level enemy health across the board.

What lives there

  • Frost Dragon — the regional wall, and the reason to read this guide. Fought with an escort: the Dragonborn and its heroes keep coming, and the dragon punishes you for ignoring them. Full breakdown in the Frost Dragon boss guide.
  • Roc — the flying dive-attacker from the Swamp, with a Mountain health bar. Fast, telegraphed, lethal if you stand in the open.
  • Titan — a heavy single-target wall. Slow, huge, and the check on whether your build has a real boss-killer.

At this point the run is about finishing your build, not starting a new one:

  • Core skill lines fully leveled — the best skills tier list is the reference.
  • One committed element with Focus tiers done, per the damage types guide.
  • Relics matching your element; exact drop rates are not fully documented — check in-game.

Build adjustments

  1. Anti-air coverage is mandatory. Flying enemies and escorts mean ground-only builds whiff half the fight. If your kit cannot hit air, the Mountain will keep proving it.
  2. AoE plus single-target. The Frost Dragon fight needs both: clear the escort, kill the dragon. Neither alone wins it.
  3. Movement Focus. Frost slows plus flying divers is the combination that removes your safe floor. The Focus passives guide covers the tiers.

The gate

The Frost Dragon is the wall. It is an escort damage race disguised as a boss duel — the adds are the fight, and the dragon punishes tunnel vision. Beat it reliably and the Volcano is a formality; lose to it and the gap is almost always coverage, not damage.

If you keep dying here

  • Dying to adds → escort priority. Clear the Dragonborn types first, then burst the dragon in the windows.
  • Dying to flyers → no anti-air. Adjust your skill picks before you rerun.
  • Dying to the Titan → single-target damage too low; finish your main line instead of widening the kit.

The stage bosses guide covers escort behaviours, and the build compendium has character direction for the back half.
