Lost Ark Deathblade T4 Build — Surge & Remaining Energy

Lost Ark Deathblade T4 build guide: Surge burst and Remaining Energy sustained routes, Ark Passive path, gem priorities, and the back-attack rotation.

Deathblade is the fast, flashy Assassin with three blades and a back-attack kit. In T4 she is a high-demand melee DPS with exceptional mobility and burst. Two routes: Surge (big single hit) and Remaining Energy (sustained). Both reward good positioning.

Role in the party

You are a melee DPS who applies the party synergy and pumps burst or steady damage from the boss’s back-side. Back attacks matter — Deathblade gets bonus crit and damage on rear hits, so footwork is half the class.

T4 build paths

  • Surge: build Surge stacks during Death Trance (Z) with multi-hit skills, then unleash Deathblade Surge for a giant hit. At 60+ stacks Limit Break doubles it. High skill, high payoff.
  • Remaining Energy: constantly generate Death Orbs, then pop Z for a 30-second damage / speed buff and unleash skills. More forgiving and consistent.

Your class engraving is the Enlightenment keystone.

Ark Passive direction

  • Evolution: Crit / Swiftness is the classic split for both routes; Surge leans harder into Crit to make the big hit connect.
  • Enlightenment: your class keystone plus the nodes that boost Surge / Death Trance and your orb generation.
  • Leap: Hyper Awakening that strengthens your Surge (Breaking Moon) or Deathly Slash depending on route.

Gems

Surge: damage gems on the skills you detonate with Surge (and Breaking Moon), cooldown gems on your multi-hit stack builders. Remaining Energy: damage gems on your charge-back-attack spenders, cooldown gems on generators and synergy.

Core loop

Surge: enter Death Trance, cycle low-cooldown multi-hit skills to stack Surge, then detonate. Stay on the boss’s back. Remaining Energy: keep orbs flowing, pop Z for the buff window, unload your hardest hits, repeat. Keep your synergy up.

Gear & ability stone

DPS set; Crit / Swift accessories; ability stone for the keystone and combat engravings (Grudge, Ambush Master, Cursed Doll, Adrenaline, Keen Blunt / Empress-style options). Ambush Master is key for the back-attack bonus.

New player friendliness

Low-to-medium. Remaining Energy is the gentler teacher; Surge demands clean positioning. A rewarding main once the footwork clicks.
