Lost Ark Destroyer T4 Build — Gravity Training & Rage Hammer
Lost Ark Destroyer T4 build guide: Gravity Training vs Rage Hammer Ark Passive routes, engravings, gems, and the Hypergravity rotation explained for 2026.
Destroyer is the Warrior tank-damage hybrid: a slow, heavily armored hammer user who converts Gravity Cores into huge Gravity Release skills, then unloads everything inside Hypergravity. In Tier 4 he’s one of the sturdiest melee DPS in the game, and the September 2026 Dimensions Unbound patch buffed Gravity Armor on his Enlightenment tree, so the defensive routes feel better than ever.
Role in the party
You are a melee DPS with built-in stagger, a counter on Vortex Gravity, and one of the best destruction contributions in the game. Heavy Crush gives the party Armor Destruction synergy, and Power Strike covers a second synergy plus a counter. In practice that means you are always welcome even before your damage is maxed out.
The two T4 routes
- Gravity Training (commonly the default): your blue skills generate Gravity Cores, each purple Gravity Release skill consumes them, and the meter gain lets you sit in Hypergravity almost permanently. Inside Hypergravity you only basic attack — hold left click and your attack speed ramps up while you enjoy a huge HP shield and push immunity. It is a positional playstyle: you must stay in front of the boss to cash in front-attack bonuses.
- Rage Hammer: trades the permanent Hypergravity uptime for consistent crit scaling outside the mode. It’s the more forgiving option if you dislike being locked in place for long windows.
Ark Passive direction
- Evolution: standard melee spread — Crit and Specialization first, then damage nodes.
- Enlightenment: Gravity Armor is the defensive branch (Gravity Release damage plus defense per core), Gravity Shock is the burst branch (bonus damage when Hypergravity hits the same foe repeatedly). Gravity Release and New Core deepen your identity uptime. Pick one identity branch and commit; mixing halves is a trap.
- Leap: Chain Strike nodes pair with your Hypergravity window.
Engravings, gems, and gear
Popular combat engravings are Grudge, Raid Captain, Cursed Doll, Adrenaline, and Keen Blunt Weapon — swap according to your crit rate and bracelet rolls. For gems, prioritize the Gravity Release skills you actually cast (Seismic Hammer, Earth Eater) plus cooldown reduction on your core builders. Gear-wise you run the standard Tier 4 Ancient progression path into the current top rarity; see our gear honing T4 guide for the material roadmap.
Core loop
Outside Hypergravity: cast Power Shoulder / Endure Pain type builders, spend three cores on a purple Gravity Release, repeat until the meter is full. Inside Hypergravity: hold left click, keep Vortex Gravity ready for counter windows, drop Heavy Crush synergy on cooldown, and use Terra Break (Awakening) for an instant full meter when you need a second window.
New player friendliness
High. The rotation is simple to grasp — the skill is entirely in positioning and not panicking while you are rooted. Destroyer is one of the best first melee characters for someone who wants raids without piano gameplay.
How this differs from our other Warrior guides
Unlike Berserker, who needs low-HP risk management, Destroyer gets his tankiness for free but pays with almost no mobility. Supports like Bard and Paladin lean on his Heavy Crush synergy, so keep it up out of courtesy as much as damage.
