Lost Ark Scrapper T4 Build — Taijutsu vs Shock Training

Lost Ark Scrapper T4 build guide: Taijutsu vs Shock Training Ark Passive routes, Stamina and Shock economy, engravings, gems, and Tenacity Release rotation.

Scrapper is the Martial Artist bruiser: heavy gauntlets, short range, huge stagger, and one of the best counters in the game. Modern Scrapper doesn’t just balance two energy bars anymore — Tenacity Release is the heart of both endgame routes, and Tier 4 splits her into two clearly different playstyles through Ark Passive.

Role in the party

Melee DPS with elite stagger, destruction, and a counter (Roundup Sweep) plus a synergy (Crushing Smite). You don’t bring flashy party buffs, but raids always have room for a Scrapper who keeps the counter and synergy uptime high.

The two T4 routes

  • Ultimate Skill: Taijutsu — the fast route. Its Enlightenment passive heavily boosts Stamina skill damage and reduces Shock skill damage, so you build around yellow Stamina skills and constant pressure. Tenacity Release windows are longer, which suits a high-uptime, in-your-face style.
  • Shock Training — the burst route. This passive boosts Shock skill damage and rewards spending the Shock meter deliberately inside Tenacity Release. The identity window is shorter, so timing matters more, but individual hits hit much harder.

Both are fully viable; the choice is about whether you prefer constant short-cooldown pressure or committed burst windows.

Ark Passive direction

  • Evolution: Crit and Swiftness (Taijutsu) or Crit and Specialization (Shock Training), then standard damage nodes.
  • Enlightenment: take the keystone for your route — Ultimate Skill: Taijutsu or Shock Training — and follow the branch down rather than splitting points. Shock builds also value the nodes that interact with meter spend and Tenacity Release.
  • Leap: nodes that enhance Heaven and Earth Strike and your main spenders.

Engravings, gems, and gear

Common combat engravings: Grudge, Raid Captain, Cursed Doll, Adrenaline, Preemptive Strike or Contender, with Magick Stream if mana is an issue. Gem priority goes to your main damage skills first — Death Rattle, Shredding Strike, Heaven and Earth Strike for Shock; Iron Cannon Blow, Battering Fists, Dragon Advent for Taijutsu — then cooldown gems on the spenders. Full gear context in gear honing T4 and Ark Grid.

Core loop

Build Tenacious Power by landing skills, press Z to enter Tenacity Release — it resets cooldowns and frees you from Stamina/Shock restrictions — then dump your big spenders inside the window. Rebuild stacks with your generators before the next window, and never sit on Crushing Smite or Roundup Sweep; the party needs them on cooldown.

New player friendliness

High for Taijutsu, medium for Shock Training. Her kit is forgiving defensively (good defense and mobility for a melee), but the APM is real and you are always in the boss’s face — learn patterns, not just the rotation.

How this differs from our other Martial Artist guides

Compared to Wardancer, who commits to a stationary ES-focused identity, Scrapper keeps moving and plays around burst windows. Glaivier, Soulfist, and the other Martial Artists each have their own build guides in the class section — pick by energy style, not by tier-chat noise.
