Lost Ark Soulfist T4 Build — The Post-Rework Spirit Loop
Lost Ark Soulfist T4 build guide after the September 2026 rework: the new Spirit economy, Energy Overflow route, engravings, gems, and rotation basics.
Fair warning up front: the September 16, 2026 Dimensions Unbound patch rebuilt Soulfist from the resource economy up. If your build video is from before that date, it is wrong. Specialization now increases Force skill damage instead of shortening Spirit recovery, several martial skills generate Spirit instead of spending it, and Magnetic Palm is gone — Yin Yang Palm replaces it. Everything below reflects the live version.
Role in the party
Soulfist is a hybrid melee-ranged Martial Artist DPS with high burst, excellent mobility, and party attack-power buffs through specific tripods. You fill a pure damage slot and occasionally cover a party buff that used to live on another skill.
The T4 route
The mainstream endgame direction is the Energy Overflow / Supreme Art style identity, focused on Force skill damage and Hype windows. Under the new system, the identity builds meter and you spend it in Hype, where damage and attack speed spike and cooldowns reset faster. Because martial skills now refill Spirit, the natural loop is: use martial skills to rebuild Spirit, then spend it on Force skills and Hype before the buff falls off.
Ark Passive direction
- Evolution: Specialization is your priority stat now — it directly boosts Force skill damage — backed by Crit and cooldown nodes.
- Enlightenment: follow the Force/Hype-oriented branch for your chosen identity, taking the keystone early so the whole route activates cleanly.
- Leap: skill-specific nodes for your main Force spenders and Hyper Awakening.
Engravings, gems, and gear
Popular combat engravings: Grudge, Keen Blunt Weapon, Adrenaline, Raid Captain, plus Mass Increase or Cursed Doll — Mass Increase is the usual pick but its attack-speed penalty can feel rough while you learn, and Cursed Doll is the safer alternative. Gem priority follows your biggest damage buttons (Energy Blast, Tempest Blast, the Hype skills) with cooldown gems on the same. For the material side, see gear honing T4 and Ark Grid.
Core loop
Weave Spirit-generating martial skills (Flash Step, Shadowbreaker, Bolting Crash and friends) between Force spenders so the resource never caps or stalls. Enter Hype on cooldown, dump your big hits inside the window, and keep the party attack-power tripod buff rolling whenever it’s up.
New player friendliness
Medium. The rework actually simplified the mental model — martial skills feed Force skills — but Soulfist is still squishy with long animations on the big hits. Missed Hype windows cost real damage.
How this differs from our other Martial Artist guides
Soulfist’s defining trait post-rework is the generator-spender Spirit loop, which neither Scrapper nor Wardancer shares. If you’re coming back after a break, read our returning player guide before touching your skill presets — the September changes invalidated most old ones.
