Battlefield 6 Cairo Bazaar Map Guide: Grand Bazaar, Rebuilt for BF6
Cairo Bazaar is Battlefield 6's reimagined Grand Bazaar — one dense city block, heavy destruction, mirrored lanes. How to attack and defend it.
Cairo Bazaar came with Season 3 in June 2026 and it’s a reimagined Grand Bazaar from Battlefield 3. Everything happens in and around a single city block, with a road looping around the outside for small vehicles. EA built it mirrored so both sides get the same routes — which is great news, because it means there’s no “better spawn” to cry about.
Mode fit
It’s a tight-map entry. Team Deathmatch and Domination share the same slice of the block, and it plays well in the smaller objective modes generally. EA basically told new players to expect something in the same family as Hagental Base or Saints Quarter: dense, fast, infantry-first.
Three layers of space
- Air: effectively none. Buildings cut every sightline and there’s no room to maneuver.
- Ground: the market streets and the outer road. The streets are the fight; the outer road is for small vehicles and for flanking between objectives.
- Interior: shops, stalls and multi-room buildings. This is where the map is won.
The big change from the original is destruction. EA said it’s dramatically increased, and in practice you can blow new shortcuts through walls — which means your “safe” room can get a new door punched into it mid-fight.
Key objectives
Objectives sit inside and around the market block, close enough that you can rotate between them without a vehicle. The rhythm is constant small fights: cap, clear the building next to it, get pushed, retake. Because it’s mirrored, whoever wins the middle first tends to hold it.
Vehicle lanes
Only light vehicles, on the outer road. They’re useful for a quick squad hop between objectives and useless as fire support — there’s barely anywhere to shoot from. Don’t build a squad around them.
Attacking
- Pick a wall, not a door. Blowing your own entrance is often faster and safer than walking through the one everybody’s watching.
- Clear vertically. Upper floors and rooftops overlook the market lanes; if you don’t own them, someone else does.
- Move between objectives through buildings, never down the open street.
Defending
Hold the buildings adjacent to the flag rather than the flag itself, and expect your cover to disappear — assume any wall can be opened. Rotate positions often, because a mirrored map means the enemy always has an equivalent angle on whatever you’re holding.
Class and loadout notes
Short-to-mid range builds. SMGs, carbines and shotguns; leave the long-range optics at home. Assault and Engineer are the safest picks, Support if your team keeps losing bodies at the cap. Sort your class in the classes guide and your build with the attachment guide. More urban fighting: Siege of Cairo and Empire State.
