Gley Build Guide — Infinite Ammo Boss Killer in The First Descendant

Gley turns infinite ammo into absurd boss DPS in The First Descendant — here is her Frenzy build, reactor, modules, and the weapons that melt Colossi.

Gley is the high-risk, high-reward boss monster. She doesn’t use shields — she heals through kills and trades HP for damage. Get her Frenzy loop right and she tops the DPS charts in basically every Void Intercept.

What Gley actually does

Frenzied (skill 1) burns HP to enter Berserk: big firearm ATK and penetration, but reduced healing. Life Siphon (skill 2) heals and damages nearby enemies. Increased Sensory (skill 3) is the star — while Frenzied it grants infinite ammo for a window. Massacre (ult) swaps your gun to the Massacre weapon and slams stunned, bonus-damage shots. The Thirst passive drops Life Spheres on kills that fuel your Power of Life stacks.

Best weapon pairing

Vestigial Organ is the rocket-launcher pick (highest fire rate of the class, perfect for the infinite-ammo window). Python and Smithereens are strong too, and a min-maxed machine gun or SMG works for Massacre. The ATR-0 Prototype is a clean Non-Attribute skill-power stat stick.

Reactor + skill match

Go Materialized Singularity (Non-Attribute + Singular) for Frenzy/Increased Sensory, or Materialized Phase (Non-Attribute + Dimension) for Life Siphon/Massacre. The real stats you chase are Skill Duration and Skill Cooldown so the infinite-ammo buff stays up. With a CDR reactor plus Focus on Non-Attribute and Focus on Dimension you can hit 100% uptime.

Core modules

Predator Instinct is the Transcendent must-have — it boosts firearm ATK while Frenzied. Then HP Collector, Maximize Duration, Skill Extension, MP Conversion, Nimble Fingers, Increased HP, and Increased DEF. Blood and Iron is a great augment: it lets crits generate Power of Life instead of spheres, which is perfect with fast guns.

External components

Annihilation set scales firearm ATK off your HP and HP lost; Veteran Marksman is the weak-point pick; Slayer works for skill builds. Cores: DEF, HP, HP Recovery.

How to get Gley

Research her through Anais — standard but grindy material lists (Monad Shard, Silicon, etc.). See the unlock guide.

Beginner friendliness: NOT beginner friendly

Gley demands you manage Frenzy, Life Spheres, and your HP bar at once. She’s one of the hardest to pilot. New players should read the beginner guide and the tier list before committing catalysts.
