Ines Build Guide — Electric AoE and Boss Killer in The First Descendant
Ines is a top-tier electric AoE and boss killer in Season 4 — here is the Plasma Bullet build, reactor, modules, and the best weapons to run.
Ines is the Descendant people point to when they want a room cleared yesterday. All of her skills are Electric, she chains damage across packed groups, and her single-target rotation still nukes bosses. She’s been a meta staple since launch and Season 4 hasn’t changed that.
What Ines actually does
The signature playstyle is “Plasma Bullet.” Keep Induced Current (skill 1) toggled, drop Lightning Conductor (skill 2) on groups, spam Tracking Prey (skill 3) to reload and bank Plasma, then unload Snare Hunter (skill 4) for the AoE burst. For bosses you bind the target with Current Bonding and hip-fire a shotgun inside the radius.
Best weapon pairing
Hammer and Anvil is the mobbing king — Anvil mode rains bullets from above and spreads with your skills. Eye of the Typhoon auto-aims beams for lazy clears. Last Dagger is the single-target boss pick. The new E-Buster SMG (Season 3/4) is a sleeper: its Entropy Overlap stacks Electric Skill Power every time you cast a tracking projectile, which is basically Ines’s whole kit. Secret Garden is a fine stat stick.
Reactor + skill match
You want a Tingling Singularity reactor (Electric + Singular). Prioritize Electric Skill Power Boost Ratio and Skill Cooldown first; Skill Critical Hit Damage is a strong third roll. Because all her skills are Electric, getting the element right matters more than the secondary type.
Core modules
Electric Specialist, Focus on Electric, Focus on Singular, Nimble Fingers, MP Conversion, and Skill Extension are the spine. For gear, the Slayer set is the lazy DPS pick, Bravery is the mobbing king (kill-triggered cooldown resets), and a Circulation + Plague hybrid keeps you alive in hard bosses. Route Arche Tuning toward Defense Neutralization to strip enemy resist.
Transcendent Module
Plasma Ball is the headline Transcendent: it swaps her passive MP-to-crit interaction for a plasma barrier, so don’t over-invest Max MP if you run it. That’s the whole build twist.
