Arena Breakout Dog Tags: What to Do With Them

What dog tags are for in Arena Breakout Infinite, how the Trophy Room works, and the fastest way to sell them

Dog tags drop from the operators you kill. They are proof of a win, and they are also sellable loot. Here is what to do with them.

What dog tags are

You collect a dog tag directly from the body of a killed player. It records the kill as a trophy. There is no quest that needs them, so their main use is money.

Tags are small and light. They never block a real loot slot, which makes them the easiest item to always bring home.

Display them first

Tags must be displayed in your Trophy Room before they can be sold. If a tag will not sell, this is usually why. A past patch specifically fixed tags getting stuck after display.

Open the Trophy Room from your hideout, place the tag on a display hook, and it becomes sellable. Displaying is free and instant.

Selling options

You have two buyers:

  • The merchant buys instantly at a lower price. Good for clearing tags you do not care about.
  • The market pays more, but listings take time and use a weekly slot.

Tags are low-value items. Do not burn a market listing slot on one. Batch stacks of tags into a single listing, or sell them straight to the merchant when your bag is full. The general rule from the marketplace guide applies: anything worth less than a few thousand Koen goes to the merchant.

How many to keep

Keep one tag from your first kill of a session as a memento if you like. Sell the rest. They are common loot, not a rare collectible. The rare tier is the Secret Document, which sells for millions and appears in high-tier safes and document cases.

Insurance is separate

Your own gear comes back through insurance, not through tags. Tags do not affect what you lose on death. The insurance guide covers the claim window and expired items.
