Medical and Healing Guide for ABI

ABI tracks seven body parts and the wrong heal order gets you killed. Stop the bleed, then fracture, then pain — and never surgical-kit mid-fight.

ABI tracks seven body parts, and the wrong heal order gets you killed faster than the enemy does. Most new players panic, mash meds, and bleed out while a surgical animation locks them in place.

The correct heal order

The correct order is fixed. Stop the bleed first. Then treat any fracture. Then use painkillers. Painkillers do not stop bleeding, so popping them first is a waste that lets the red drain continue. Pre-bandage your bleeds the moment you take a hit, even in the middle of a fight, because a quick bandage buys time.

When to use a surgical kit

A surgical kit animation mid-fight is a death sentence. It takes long enough for any opponent to line up the shot and end the raid. Only surgical-kit when you are truly safe, behind cover, and sure no one is close. If you are still taking fire, bandage and move instead.

Seven body parts and injuries

Each of the seven body parts can be injured on its own. A leg hit slows your sprint; an arm hit hurts your aim and reload. Treat the part that is bleeding first, then the part that limits your movement, then manage pain so your screen stays steady.

What to carry in your med stack

Carry a small, redundant med stack. One surgical kit, a few bandages, and painkillers cover most raids. Keep the surgical kit in your Secure Container guide so a death does not cost you the expensive part of your loadout. Restock after every raid so you never deploy short on a critical item.

The trap is healing greedily. You do not need to be at full health to extract. Patch the bleed, stay mobile, and leave. The raid is won by the operator who survives, not the one who healed perfectly. The common mistakes guide lists this error first for a reason.

Remember this: stop the bleed, then the fracture, then pain, and never surgical-kit while a threat can see you.
