How to Unlock the Workbench in Arena Breakout: Infinite
The Workbench is a Trophy Room module you build and level, not a shop unlock. Follow the build order that stops it from eating your whole stash budget.
The Workbench is not bought. It is a module inside the Trophy Room that you construct from your Stash, then level up one paywall of materials at a time.
Here is the order that wastes the least Koen.
Step 1: open the Trophy Room from your Stash
Look for the Trophy Room entry next to your stash grid. Everything hideout-related lives there: the Workbench, the Living Area, the Intelligence Department wing and the displays. It is not the season mission panel. Those two screens look similar to new players and get confused constantly. The free Titanium secure case comes from the season track; the Workbench has nothing to do with it.
Step 2: raise the Living Area before touching the Workbench
This is the step almost everyone skips. Your early Koen has to cover two things at once: what you bring into raids, and what you pour into the base. Putting all of it into the Workbench in the first week leaves you running worse kits in raids, which is how you end up with no money and a half-built room.
Do the Living Area first. It carries the sustain side of your progression. Then move on.
Step 3: build the Workbench module
Open its page and read the required-materials list for the current level. This list is per level and it changes with patches, so never plan a build off numbers you read somewhere else — including this one. Anything you are missing can be bought on the Marketplace or farmed in raids.
Step 4: pay, then wait out the build timer
Every level has a construction timer. Start it, then go run raids. You do not need to sit in the menu staring at a progress bar, and you do not need to spend Bonds to skip it if you were going to play anyway.
Step 5: take it through the higher levels
Each Workbench level unlocks the next tier of recipes — mainly ammunition and medical items, with the more valuable combat drugs and specialised rounds sitting at the top levels. Which recipes sit at which level is exactly the kind of thing patches shuffle, so treat the recipe tab as the source of truth.
Step 6: use it for what it is for
The reason anyone bothers: a slice of the top-end gear and high-pierce ammunition stopped being purchasable on the Marketplace. Craft it here or pull it out of a raid. If you are running rounds you cannot buy yet, check the best ammo calibers guide to see which ones are worth a recipe slot.
“Why is there no unlock-all button”
Because it is a building game in miniature. Every module and every level is a separate build with its own material list and its own timer. Upgrading the Workbench does not touch the Living Area, the Intelligence wing or any display case. Nothing bundles them.
Keep that in mind before you spend. Short on cash? The make Koen fast routes beat emptying your stash into wood and screws. And if you are still dying with the basics, a few solid budget loadouts return more value per Koen than another Workbench level ever will.
