Delta Force PC Requirements: Specs and Storage

Compare your rig against the official PC floor and plan storage for the base client plus every map pack.

Delta Force is free to play, which means a lot of players install it on hardware that never got checked. Before you troubleshoot performance, confirm your machine sits above the floor the developers published — a weak baseline explains more “bugs” than any patch does.

This page covers the official PC floor, the storage math for the full install, and what to do when your hardware sits near the minimum.

The official PC floor

The developers list a GTX 1060-class graphics card or higher as the recommended tier for PC play, with the standard modern multicore processor and 16 GB of memory expected around it. Console players need nothing extra beyond a current-generation PlayStation or Xbox.

Two practical notes on that floor:

  • “GTX 1060 or higher” is a class, not a card. Modern equivalents from either vendor sit comfortably above it, and integrated graphics does not.
  • The recommendation covers the game at its default settings. Large-scale Warfare battles with full crowds and effects stress hardware harder than the minimum implies, so near-minimum rigs should expect to tune.

Storage math

The install grew as content shipped, so plan for the current footprint rather than the number you remember from launch:

  • Base client: roughly 85 GB after the client restructuring that cut the original full download
  • Map packs: roughly 22 GB more, as free downloadable content
  • Working headroom: leave 15-20 GB beyond the total for patch staging and shader caches

A full install lands near 107 GB, plus headroom. The storage breakdown explains what each pack contains so you can skip modes you never play.

If your hardware is near the minimum

Stability first, then frames: run the game at default settings once to establish a baseline, then apply the four-step tuning method to find your own ceiling instead of copying someone else’s preset. Shadows, effects quality, and view distance give back the most frames for the least visual loss.

Also rule out the failure modes that mimic weak hardware: launch crashes from overlay software and unstable memory profiles hit capable machines too.

Mobile and cross-play hardware

The mobile version has its own published floor — a Snapdragon 865-class processor or newer on Android, iPhone 11 or newer on iOS. See the mobile overheating guide for thermal behavior on phones and the cross-progression page for what carries between platforms.

Verify before you blame the game

If your rig clears the floor with headroom and frames still collapse, the cause is usually local: background load, thermal throttling, or a stale driver. The tuning loop above separates those cases in about forty minutes.
