ABI Weapon Tier List: What Wins Lockdown and Forbidden

Players chase the prettiest rifle and ignore the round in the mag. Then they lose to a cheap gun on good ammo. The tier list below ranks weapons by how they actually perform, not by price tag.

S-tier weapons in Season 7

Season 7 “Utopia” (September 16, 2026) is the current patch, and it changed the ground rules rather than the S-tier itself. The S-tier stays consistent: H416, U191, AK-12, P90, and the M24. These guns reward recoil control and pair with strong calibers, and they still dominate Lockdown and Forbidden when fed the right rounds.

What moved is what you are allowed to bring. Utopia gates ammo and gear by mode, and it removed T5 and T6 penetration RNG — a round either penetrates the armour class it is rated for or it does not, instead of rolling a dice. Two weapons joined the pool in the same patch: the A545 and the AK-15SC, both 5.45-chambered, which is the cheapest route into that calibre band.

Season 6 “White Nights” (June 29, 2026) still matters for one reason: it introduced Hostile Sector and the mastery system that most current builds are still built around.

A-tier value picks

A-tier is where value lives. The AEK-971 became a standout after its July 3 recoil buff. The AR-57, FAL, Mk14, SVDS, M16, Vector .45, AMB-17, and the Desert Eagle all sit here. Note the FAL is the only AR that chambers T6 M61.

B-tier covers solid budget and niche picks. The AK-102 is the best cheap option. The AUG, AN-94, M4A1, F2000, VSS, MPX, USAS-12, and MCX round it out. They work, but they ask more from your aim.

B-tier and C-tier guns

C-tier is starter gear. The MP5, SKS, Mosin, Mini14, UMP45, and UZI belong to early raids. Do not bring them into Forbidden expecting to win fights.
