Arena Breakout: Infinite has no pure PvE-only mode where every raid is bot-only and you loot without any player risk. That surprises newcomers who want to gather gear safely, but the core of the game is PvPvE: other players can always show up in your raid.

What exists instead

Operations are the main loop and are always PvPvE. There are bot-heavy or low-threat moments inside some maps and a training or co-op style practice option for learning the systems, but none of these are a safe loot farm. If you queue a normal operation, assume another squad can contest the same loot.

How to reduce risk

You cannot remove the player threat, but you can lower exposure. Run faster extractions, learn quiet routes, and avoid hot drops where geared squads land. Solo play removes teammate coordination but also removes the target a squad presents. The loot you extract is yours to keep; the loot you lose to a player is gone.

Which maps feel calmest

Smaller maps and off-peak hours tend to have fewer contesting players, which is the closest thing to a relaxed run you get. Treat any “safe” feeling as temporary and keep your exit planned. The modes guide lists which queues stay busy so you can pick the quiet windows.

Practicing without the risk

Use the training and practice modes to learn maps, loot routes, and extractions before you bring real gear into a live raid. A few calm practice runs teach more than a dozen panic extractions, and they cost you nothing if a player shows up. The beginners guide covers the practice options in detail.

Mindset

Treat every raid as contested. The tension is the point, and the safest play is usually a clean in-and-out rather than a long farm in one zone. The LFG Discord helps you find a squad if you would rather take the fight with backup, and the hub covers the rest of the basics.
