BO7 GobbleGums: Every Gum and How Loadouts Work

The full GobbleGum set in Black Ops 7 Zombies, the six gums new to BO7, and the loadout system that decides what the Mr. Peeks machines dispense.

GobbleGums return in Black Ops 7 Zombies as the consumable power-ups dispensed from Mr. Peeks machines in-match. Your entire BO6 stash carries straight over, and BO7 adds six new gums plus a few mechanical changes. This guide lists what each gum does, which are new, and how to build a loadout so the machine gives you what you actually want.

How GobbleGum loadouts work

Before a Zombies match you build loadouts in the Zombies menu. You can create up to five Packs, each holding five GobbleGums. You pick a Pack before the match or swap it from the pause menu. A gum is only removed from your inventory once its activation fully completes — if you have none of a gum left and it’s still slotted, the machine can dispense a flavourless (useless) gum instead. A practical habit is to keep one Pack per rarity so you can cycle options mid-match. All BO6 gums carry forward; ones earned in the BO7 beta do not.

Two carry-over mechanics also changed: the power-up-summoning gums (Kill Joy, On the House, Hidden Power) now auto-activate their power-up, and Exit Strategy now auto-exfils the user. If multiple players hit a GobbleGum machine, a short cooldown applies between accesses.

Carried-over gums by rarity (effects confirmed for BO7)

Rare: Kill Joy (Insta-Kill power-up), Cache Back (Max Ammo power-up), Temporal Gift (next time-based power-up lasts longer), Stock Option (ammo from stockpile, 60s), Anywhere But Here (teleport + knockback), Power Keg (Full Power power-up), Tactical Diffusion (disables next Nuke, gives 2,000 Essence), Arsenal Accelerator (faster Field Upgrade, 5 min), Shields Up (refill armor, armor twice as strong, 3 min).

Epic: Respin Cycle (re-spin Mystery Box to equal/higher rarity), Dead Drop (higher Salvage/Equipment drop rates, 5 min), Who’s Keeping Score? (Double Points power-up), Free Fire (no ammo consumption, 60s, not on Wonder Weapons), Exit Strategy (instant exfil vote), Profit Sharing (share Essence with nearby players, 2 min), Explosive Flourish (reload creates explosion, 2 min), Soda Fountain (next Perk gives a bonus random Perk), Nowhere But Here (teleport to downed player + instant revive).

Legendary: Idle Eyes (zombies ignore you, 30s), Wall Power (next wall-buy comes Pack-A-Punched), Flavor Hex (random Ultra gum), Immolation Liquidation (Fire Sale power-up), Support Group (ARC-XD, Mangler Cannon, Sentry Gun, Disciple Injection in order), Round Off (see new table), Phoenix Up (revive all teammates, keep Perks), Modified Chaos (greatly reduced Ammo Mod cooldowns, 60s), On The House (random Perk power-up), Wall to Wall Clearance (wall buys cost 10 Essence, 30s), Crate Power (next Mystery Box weapon comes Pack-A-Punched), Armor Gettin’ (see new table).

Ultra: Perkaholic (all available Perks), Wonderbar! (next Mystery Box yields a Wonder Weapon), Gift Card (see new table).

BO7 also surfaces a novelty “Whimsical” tier (cosmetic zombie effects such as Newtonian Negation and Indigestion); it doesn’t affect progression, so it isn’t part of the core grind.

Which gums to actually slot

For a standard high-round push, the loadout math is simple: keep Perkaholic and Phoenix Up available for safety, Wall Power or Crate Power if you’re hunting a Wonder Weapon, and Power Vacuum / Explosive Flourish for salvage and crowd control. The BO7 Zombies Perks guide covers the Perk-a-Colas those gums interact with, and our Ashes of the Damned guide explains where the machines sit on the launch map.
