Layali Grove Loot Routes: Groves, Caves, Docks
Plan Layali Grove loot runs around its villages and 2.0 areas, and use fog and night audio cues to stay ahead of other players.
Layali Grove rewards a different style than Zero Dam: more space, more natural cover, and conditions that punish players who rely on eyes alone. Fog and night raids turn the map into an audio game, and the 2.0 revision added water-linked areas that changed its loot geography. Plan routes around areas, not coordinates.
Layali Grove’s loot geography
| Area | Character | Loot style | Risk |
|---|---|---|---|
| Grove and farmland | Open ground, natural cover | Spread out, moderate value | Low to medium |
| Village and buildings | Tight interiors, doors and windows | Denser loot | Medium to high |
| Serenity Bay (2.0) | Water zone with boat access | Water-adjacent spawns, new travel lines | Medium |
| North Slope Caves (2.0) | Enclosed cave network | Contained, high-pressure | High — few exits |
| Haavk Underground Dock (2.0) | Underground dock structure | Industrial loot | High |
The 2.0 revision also connected the river network and expanded the map borders, added assault boats and jet skis, introduced new NPC contacts, and removed the old sealed lab area. If you learned Layali before 2.0, treat the water edge as new territory rather than a wall.
Audio is your primary sensor
Fog and darkness cut effective vision range, which makes sound the deciding factor:
- In quiet conditions, doors, boat engines, and footsteps carry — treat every noise as a squad announcing its position.
- Move slow near loot. Sprinting tells the whole map where you are.
- Learn to judge distance and direction in the training ground before you rely on it mid-raid.
- Headphones with spatial audio are close to mandatory on this map.
Route framework
- Perimeter-first route. Grove and farmland edges, then work inward. Low risk, steady income.
- Village route. Take one building cluster, loot the interiors, and leave before clearing it all. Villages attract fights.
- Water route. Use the bay and dock areas for loot and boat-based rotation. Water lines are fast but exposed.
- Cave route (experienced squads only). The caves hold loot in a contained space with limited exits — enter with a full squad and a pre-planned withdrawal direction.
Layali Grove’s Easy difficulty supports squad fill, which makes it a good place to meet reliable teammates; Normal opens on weekends, so plan those runs against the raid screen’s own schedule rather than a remembered availabilityility. There is also a non-combat reason to visit: the harmonica, the first freely playable instrument in Operations, is learned here.
Engagement calls in open groves come down to the judgment tree in when to fight or avoid. Plan the way out with Layali Grove extraction points, and compare this map’s difficulty against the full ladder in the maps overview.
