Layali Grove Extraction Points and Train Timing
Understand Layali Grove extraction options, including the Transnova Station train that opens about a minute after the lever.
Layali Grove’s exits split between perimeter extractions and the Transnova Station train, the map’s signature timed evacuation. Knowing both — and the train’s timing — turns the map from a maze into a schedule you control.
Two families of exits
| Exit family | How it behaves | Planning implication |
|---|---|---|
| Perimeter extraction points | Static locations on the map edge | Pick the closest at spawn, reassess as the raid evolves |
| Transnova Station train | Activated by a lever; opens, then accepts players for a window | A public event — expect crowds when it runs |
Some perimeter exits carry activation conditions that vary by season and difficulty; confirm them in-game at raid start rather than trusting memory.
The Transnova Station train, step by step
- Reach the station and find the lever. The control sits inside the station structure, close enough to fixed that you learn it by playing, not by coordinates.
- Pull the lever. The door opens after roughly one minute.
- Extraction becomes available about three minutes after the pull — the original cycle ran five minutes, so the current window is tighter.
- Board during the open window. If it closes before you are aboard, rotate to a perimeter exit.
Pulling the lever is a public act: it announces that a train is coming and pulls nearby players toward the station. Pull it when your squad is positioned to board, or when you intend to bait other squads into a fight you have chosen.
Perimeter passages framework
The 2.0 revision connected the river network and expanded the borders, so “the edge of the map” is not what older players remember. Practical rules:
- Re-learn the border after every major revision; walk it once in a low-stakes raid.
- Water edges often host boat-accessible exits — fast, but exposed on open water.
- The caves and the underground dock connect to the surface through narrow points; mark your ascent path before you descend.
Extraction decision table
| Situation | Move |
|---|---|
| Full bag, train not pulled | Call the squad, pull the lever, board immediately |
| Train pulled, you are far away | Do not sprint across the map — take a perimeter exit |
| Perimeter exit sounds active | Approach quietly; listen before you step into the open |
| Two squads fighting near your exit | Wait it out or take the far exit; exfil fights are coin flips |
Loot planning that feeds these exits lives in Layali Grove loot routes. New to Hazard Operations? The first-raid checklist and the maps overview set the baseline. Train timing and exit conditions are patch-sensitive — verify current values in-game.
