Delta Force Season Missions: Do Them in Order
Clear season missions easiest-first so the multi-match grinds never block the rewards you were close to.
Season missions drive battle pass tiers, event progress, and most of the experience you earn. The board looks long because it is long — but it is not a flat to-do list. Missions come in different shapes, and the order you clear them in decides how much of the track finishes before the season rolls over.
The three mission shapes
Sort every mission into one of three buckets before you start playing:
- Come-along missions. Objectives you finish by playing the way you already play — win matches, get kills, extract, use a support ability. They cost nothing extra and should be cleared first.
- Stackable missions. Objectives that overlap with something else you wanted to do: a specific mode, a squad session, a weekly task. Schedule these into matches you were running anyway.
- Dedicated grinds. Objectives that force off-plan play — a weapon you never touch, a mode you avoid, a condition needing many matches. These are the only missions worth deliberate scheduling, and some are worth skipping when the reward is small.
The sorting rule
Work the board in bucket order: come-along, then stackable, then dedicated. Inside each bucket, take the mission closest to completion first — a mission at 8 of 10 finishes in one session, while a fresh ten-step mission can eat an evening. Momentum beats the optimal order, because visible progress keeps the track moving.
A weekly pass over the board
Once a week, spend five minutes on the mission screen:
- Claim everything completed. Unclaimed rewards sit doing nothing.
- Re-sort anything that progressed — a grind at 2 of 10 may now be a come-along.
- Check for chains: missions that unlock follow-ups. Clear the parent before the season ends or the child becomes unreachable.
- Flag anything that expires. Seasonal boards rotate, and an unfinished mission at rotation is lost progress.
When to ignore a mission
Skip a dedicated grind when its reward is smaller than what the same session earns elsewhere. One tier of pass progress is not worth three forced matches in a mode you dislike. The board is a menu, not an obligation — the weekly task priorities page covers which sessions are worth your time, and the battle pass value test shows how mission progress converts into tiers. Building the habit? Run missions alongside the first-30-minutes routine so the board advances while you learn. Mission lists, chains and rewards rotate every season, so work the board you have rather than a remembered list — and prioritise chains whose final reward is a permanent unlock.
