Best Valorant Vandal Skins (2026 Tier List)

The Vandal has around 104 skins in the game, which makes the choice harder than it needs to be — because most of them cost the same and none of them change a single stat.

The Vandal is 2,900 credits, deals 160 to the head and 40 to the body, and does that at every range. No skin affects those numbers. What a skin does affect is whether you can see through the sight picture and whether the audio tells you a shot landed.

What the price tiers are

  • Select — 875 VP
  • Deluxe — 1,275 VP
  • Premium — 1,775 VP
  • Exclusive — 2,175 to 2,675 VP
  • Ultra — 2,475 VP

Premium is the value tier: the skins most players main, at the lowest price that includes full VFX, audio, animation, and a finisher.

The Premium picks (1,775 VP)

Prime Vandal — 1,775 VP. The benchmark. Clean silhouette, crisp sound, and a kill sound that has been iconic for years. If you want one Vandal skin and do not want to think about it again, this is the safe answer.

Reaver Vandal — 1,775 VP. Purple energy, punchy audio, and a serious presence without visual clutter. It has been a top pick since release, which says something in a game that ships new skin lines constantly.

Oni Vandal — 1,775 VP. The demon mask, satisfying animations, and a clean sight picture that stays readable at long range — which matters more on the Vandal than the Phantom, because you are tapping at distance.

Magepunk Vandal — 1,775 VP. Its firing sound is crisper than most skins at its price, and the steampunk detailing stays out of your sight line. One of the best value picks in the game and the most underrated name on this list.

Gaia’s Vengeance Vandal — 1,775 VP. Organic tree design with a distinct audio profile and a sight picture that stays clear despite the effects.

The Exclusive picks (2,175–2,675 VP)

RGX 11z Pro Vandal — 2,175 VP. Neon sci-fi with a kill counter and multiple colour variants. The kill counter is genuinely useful — it tells you how many you have taken without checking the scoreboard.

Primordium Vandal — 2,175 VP. It visibly heats up as you fire and cools back down, which gives you a real-time visual cue about how long you have been spraying. Four colour variants and a strong finisher at a fair Exclusive price.

Kuronami Vandal — 2,375 VP. The wave design with one of the best finishers in the game. You are paying for presentation rather than clarity.

Araxys, ChronoVoid, Imperium, Prelude to Chaos, Blackthorn, CYRAX, Divergence, E.XO, Singularity, Mystbloom all sit at 2,175 VP in the Exclusive tier. They differ in theme, not in competitive function — pick the one whose sound and silhouette you like, because that is the only honest difference.

Glitchpop Vandal — 2,175 VP. The loudest option here, and worth calling out as a warning. Its glitch sound mutates with every bullet and the animation work is the busiest of any Vandal. In ranked that visual noise competes with your crosshair. Stylish, not competitive.

Champions Vandal (2021, 2023, 2025) — 2,675 VP. The scarcity play, covered below.

The Ultra tier (2,475 VP)

Elderflame Vandal — 2,475 VP. A living dragon: the gun has eyes, the reload pries its jaws open, and the finisher turns you into a dragon rider. Four variants, four upgrade levels via Radianite.

It is also the clearest example of a skin that costs you something. The long equip and reload animations and the noisy outline work against you in fast rounds. Unique, memorable, and not the pick for a serious climb.

Evori Dreamwings Vandal — 2,475 VP. The other Ultra, with sound effects, animation, and finisher upgrades and three variants.

The Champions rule

Champions skins are sold only during their VCT event window. They do not return to the daily store and do not appear in the Night Market afterwards. That is the whole appeal — and the whole risk, because “I will get it next time” is not an option.

Between Champions 2021 and Champions 2023, the 2023 version wins on audio: the 2021 skin kept some of the default Vandal firing sound, which is why it feels weaker than its price suggests. If you are choosing between them on the secondary market of your own memory, take the newer one.

How to choose, practically

Tapping at range: Oni, Prime, or Magepunk — clean sights, audio that confirms the hit.

Spraying the Vandal anyway: Prime or Reaver. Avoid Glitchpop and Elderflame, whose noise works against tracking.

Want a kill counter: RGX 11z Pro or Primordium.

Want one skin forever: Prime or Reaver. Both have survived multiple skin generations without looking dated.

Budget: wait for a Night Market. Premium and below is the band that shows up there, so Prime, Reaver, Oni, Magepunk, and Gaia’s Vengeance are all realistic discount targets.

One note on the whole exercise: if you are deciding which rifle to skin, decide the rifle first. Our Vandal vs Phantom breakdown covers the actual decision, and the Phantom skin list is the other half of this choice.
