Arena Breakout Anti-Cheat: How ACE Works and Bans
What the ACE anti-cheat does in Arena Breakout Infinite, what gets accounts banned, and what to do if you are banned
Arena Breakout runs ACE, a kernel-level anti-cheat. It blocks more software than players expect, and the bans are permanent. Know the rules before you install anything.
What ACE blocks
ACE loads a driver that inspects your system for known cheat software. It also blocks overlays and tools that inject into the game. Common triggers:
- Aim bots, wallhacks, and loot radar tools. These are obvious bans.
- Macro software and driver-level input tools, even if used for other games.
- Some screen recorders and overlay apps that inject code.
- Modified game files, including unpacked data folders.
If a tool injects into the game process, assume ACE sees it.
Legitimate software that gets flagged
Not every block is a cheat. These have caused false flags:
- Screen capture tools like OBS with game capture hooks.
- Hardware monitoring overlays.
- Third-party voice chat with overlay injection.
Whitelisting the game folder in your antivirus does not help with ACE. ACE does its own scanning, and antivirus exceptions do not apply to it. Close injection-based tools before launching.
What a ban looks like
Bans are account-level and usually permanent. Hardware bans exist and follow your machine, so a new account does not help. Ban messages appear at login and reference the anti-cheat, not the game servers.
If you think the ban is wrong
Appeal through official support with your account ID, the date, and a list of every third-party tool you run. Do not use unban services. They are scams that take your account credentials and deliver nothing.
The cheater report page covers reporting suspected cheaters in matches, which is the community side of the same system.
Staying clean
- No cheat tools, ever. The risk is your whole account and your hardware ID.
- Close injection tools before playing.
- Keep your system clean of trainer software from other games.
- Report obvious cheaters instead of fighting them with tools.
ACE updates with every patch. What passed last season can be flagged next season. When in doubt, run the game with nothing extra loaded.
If you have run into a cheater rather than a false flag, the cheater report page covers what evidence actually gets acted on.
