Arena Breakout fails in a few repeatable ways. Most are network routing or launcher problems with known fixes. This page maps the common codes.
Error 4/28
This is a routing or CDN authentication failure at login. Your internet works, but the path to the login servers is broken. It shows up most during big patches and in regions with partial server coverage.
Fixes that work, in order:
- Disable IPv6 on your network adapter. This is the most common cause.
- Change your DNS to 1.1.1.1 and 1.0.0.1, or 8.8.8.8.
- Finish any pending update. Some players saw the error vanish after a full patch.
- Change your account password once, then log in again.
- Try a different network, such as a phone hotspot, to confirm it is routing.
- A VPN fixes it for many players, which confirms the network path is the issue.
Error 212
Error 212 is a session authentication failure between the launcher and the servers. It often appears after your PC wakes from sleep or after a brief disconnect.
Log out of the launcher completely, close it, reopen, and log back in. If that fails, restart your PC and flush your DNS with ipconfig /flushdns.
Error 7801110
This is a launcher initialization failure. The launcher config is corrupted, or antivirus is blocking it.
Run the launcher as administrator. Whitelist the launcher folder in your antivirus. Delete the Config folder inside the install directory and let the launcher rebuild it.
The game will not initialize
If the game closes at launch with no message, the anti-cheat install is usually broken. Boot into Safe Mode with Networking, launch the game once so ACE can reinstall, then reboot normally. Use the desktop shortcut with the shield icon, and run both the launcher and the game executable as administrator.
You and the captain are on different servers
This squad error means your region selection does not match the squad leader’s. AutoMatch can also assign you to a cluster far from the leader.
Open settings and disable AutoMatch. Have every squad member pick the same server region. The captain should sit on the region closest to the target server, since the match follows the leader.
Update stuck at 93 to 97 percent
The launcher progress bar stalls while files finish in the background. Wait 15 to 30 minutes before doing anything. If it truly stops, run the launcher as administrator or run startup_runner.exe from the install folder. Free up 20 to 30 GB before large patches.
RAM and VRAM warnings
The game needs 12 to 16 GB of RAM and around 6 GB of VRAM for stable play. If you see the RAM warning, close background apps and set Windows to manage your page file. Laptops with 8 GB will struggle no matter the settings. See the crash and performance page.
