Which ABI map should you learn first? The answer is not the one with the best loot. It is the one where a mistake costs the least and the extracts are easiest to memorize.

Start with the Farm map

Start on Farm. It is the starter map, with around twelve extracts and the densest loot in the game. The layout is readable, the boss is predictable, and a cheap kit can still profit. Learn it until exits are memory. The Farm map guide breaks it down.

When to move to Valley

Branch into Valley next. It is a longer-range coastal map with boss Doss, and it teaches patience and sightlines. Valley is a step up in risk, but the Helipad and RV exits are learnable with a plan. The Valley map guide covers the gates.

Armory and TV Station later

Only touch Armory or TV Station once exits are memory. Armory is a bunker with alarms and a T5 boss; TV Station is pure CQC PvP with no scavengers. Both punish players who do not know the layout cold. See the Armory map guide and TV Station map guide.

Use the PvE modes to learn safely. Hostile Sector, Covert Ops, Secure Ops, and Supplies Drops let you walk maps without risking your kit. Build the muscle memory in safety, then test it in Normal. Confidence built safely transfers straight into Normal raids later.

Is Northridge good for beginners

Northridge is the last to learn. Its mountain scale and stamina demands are unforgiving for a beginner. Save it until the smaller maps feel automatic and you can read a raid under pressure. The Northridge map guide explains the Hotel.

Match the map to your goal

Match the map to your goal. Farm for steady loot, Valley for range practice, Armory and TV for high risk. Pick by what you can survive, not what pays the most.

Remember this: learn Farm first, Valley second, and only the hard maps once extracts are pure memory.
