Arena Breakout Infinite Console: PS5 and Xbox Status

There is no PS5 or Xbox build of Arena Breakout: Infinite and none has been announced. What Morefun's own posts show, and the console-only options.

Arena Breakout: Infinite is a Windows PC game. There is no PlayStation build, no Xbox build, and no console release date — not a delayed one, not a rumoured one with a window attached. The game runs on Steam, the Epic Games Store and Morefun’s own launcher, and that is the whole platform list.

What the record actually shows

The strongest evidence is the absence of an announcement. Morefun’s Steam news feed runs from the April 2024 closed beta through the October 2026 announcements, over a hundred posts, and none of them mention PS5, PlayStation, Xbox or console at all. That covers the 1.0 launch, every season reveal since, and the anniversary post.

The October 2026 collaboration artwork makes the same point visually. The platform strip under the announcement lists Windows, Steam and Epic Games. There is no PlayStation or Xbox logo on it.

A console port would be the largest announcement a free-to-play PC shooter could make. It would not quietly happen without one.

Where the PS5 rumour comes from

Three sources keep it alive. The first is third-party pages quoting unnamed Discord moderators, with quotes that cannot be checked against a dated official post. The second is a 2025 article that guessed a port “could easily take 12 to 18 months” and pointed at late 2025 or early 2026; that window has passed with no announcement. The third is plain name confusion, since the original Arena Breakout does run on phones.

A fourth factor is genuine frustration. Players remember an announcement that, as far as Morefun’s own channels show, was never made.

The controller problem comes first

Even with a console build, the input question is unsettled. Morefun answered it directly in the Steam launch FAQ: “Controllers are currently not supported.” The store page carries no gamepad badge, and the settings menu has no controller option.

The reason is the design. Looting is drag-and-drop grid work, attachment tuning happens in nested menus, and aim assist does not exist. A pad would need a rebuilt interface before it needed a rebuilt renderer, which is a bigger job than a port.

If you only have a console

Two routes exist and neither is a port. The mobile game is a separate product with its own seasons and accounts, covered on the mobile release page. Cloud streaming a PC copy is the other option, and it works better for stash management than for raids, because input lag lands hardest in a firefight you lose gear over.

What would change this page

One dated post on the official site or the Steam feed naming a platform. Until then, treat every “PS5 release date” article as a guess. The crossplay side of the question is covered separately on the cross platform page, because whether a build exists and whether it can queue with PC are two different answers.
