Arena Breakout Infinite Crossplay: PC, Mobile, Console
Steam, Epic and launcher players share one server pool. Mobile and console do not join them. The crossplay answer for each combination, in one place.
Crossplay questions about this game split into three, and only one of them resolves as yes. Steam, Epic and the official launcher share servers. Mobile does not join them. Console cannot, because no console build exists.
PC to PC: yes, one pool
All Windows builds queue into the same matchmaking pool. Buying through Epic rather than Steam does not change who you meet, and the account is shared across the three clients, so progress follows the account rather than the store.
One wrinkle if you migrated: Morefun’s launch FAQ notes that players who already had the official-launcher build had to download the Steam build separately to play through Steam. The account is the same; the install is not.
Adding friends across stores
This is where a Steam-to-Epic squad usually gets stuck. Platform overlays do not talk to each other in this game, so a Steam friend list will not surface an Epic player. Add people by their in-game name using the in-game friend system, then party from there. It is one extra step and it removes the “we cannot find each other” problem entirely.
PC to mobile: no, and it is not close
Arena Breakout on phones and Arena Breakout: Infinite on PC are two products. They share maps and weapon names, and that is the extent of it. Accounts do not link, stashes do not transfer, and you will never meet a phone player in a PC raid.
That separation is deliberate rather than a missing feature. The mobile game has its own seasons, its own economy and its own balance, so a shared pool would break both. The mobile release page tracks where that product stands.
PC to console: no pool to join
There is no PlayStation or Xbox build, so there is nothing to cross-play with. The console page collects what Morefun has and has not said, including the absence of controller support, which matters more than the port itself.
If a console version ever ships, expect a separate pool. The community voted against mixed PC-console matchmaking during the 2024 early access poll, and the input gap in an extraction shooter is hard to argue with.
Cross-server is a different feature
Switching region lets PC players squad with friends abroad. It does nothing about platform, because every participant is still on PC. The change server page covers how the switch works and what it costs in ping.
The practical version
Everyone in your squad needs a Windows PC. Same store is convenient but not required. Add each other by in-game name, pick a region you all share, and the rest is a normal raid.
