Arena Breakout Mobile: A Different Game From Infinite

Arena Breakout runs on phones, but it is a separate build from Infinite on PC. Which platforms exist, how accounts work, and what carries over.

There is a mobile Arena Breakout, and that single fact causes most of the confusion around this question. The mobile title and Arena Breakout: Infinite are not two clients of one game — they are separate builds with separate seasons, separate events and separate account systems. If you install the phone version expecting your PC stash, you will be disappointed for a reason that has nothing to do with a bug.

What Infinite actually runs on

On PC, Infinite ships through Steam, the Epic Games Store and its own official launcher. Those three share a single account, so moving between launchers does not cost you progress.

Consoles are not part of the picture: no PlayStation or Xbox build exists, and nothing has been announced for either. Searches for an Xbox Series X or PS5 build resolve either to cloud streaming of the PC game or to the mobile title. The console and crossplay page covers the streaming workaround in detail.

Why mobile progress does not follow you

Different build, different account system, different season calendar. That is the whole answer. The mobile game has its own seasonal structure and its own event schedule, which means balance changes land at different times and sometimes land differently.

The practical consequence: guides and tier lists are not interchangeable between the two. A weapon that dominates the mobile build can be genuinely mediocre in Infinite, because the two are tuned separately. If you play on PC, read Infinite material only — including the ammo and penetration guide and the armor class guide, both of which assume the PC build.

Can you queue with a friend on the other version?

No. There is no path between them, and no crossplay arrangement that fixes it. If your group is split across phone and PC, the honest answer is that you are playing two different games and will need to pick one to play together.

The account detail worth knowing on PC

Because Steam, Epic and the official launcher share one account, your stash, your Koen and your progress do not care which of the three you boot from. That matters more than it sounds: it means you can switch storefront without any migration step, and it means a launcher problem is never a progress problem.

Before you download anything

Use those three sources and nothing else. Third-party pages advertising “Arena Breakout Infinite mobile” are not a version of this game — at best they are the separate mobile title under a misleading name, and at worst they are installers you do not want on your machine.

If you are hitting launch problems after a legitimate install, the error codes fix covers the common ones before you go looking for a reinstall.
