Arena Breakout Missions: Contractor Tasks and the Safe
How Arena Breakout missions work: contractor tasks to Level 8, weekly mission boards, and the 60-mission seasonal campaign that pays a permanent safe
Missions in Arena Breakout: Infinite are the slow-burn progression system, and they hide the single best reward in the game. The seasonal campaign pays a permanent secure container at 60 missions, and almost nobody finishes it because the tasks look harder than they are.
Contractor tasks and Level 8
Start with contractor tasks. Run them until your account reaches Level 8. That threshold unlocks the Lockdown zones, the Forbidden tiers, and the weekly mission boards, which is where the real money lives.
Before Level 8, treat missions as a side activity. After it, they become a weekly routine.
The 60-mission seasonal campaign
The seasonal campaign runs about 60 missions. Clear all of them and you permanently earn the 3x3 Titanium Safe, a nine-slot secure container. That is the largest quality-of-life unlock in the game, and it never resets.
Seasonal questlines reset between seasons, but the container stays. If you finish one campaign, you keep the safe forever.
Reading task requirements
Tasks come in a few types, and the wording matters:
- Elimination tasks often let you reuse the same target. You can blind the same scav three times with flashbangs instead of finding three different enemies.
- Loot tasks count only containers you have not opened before, so run fresh raids instead of re-clearing old ground.
- Market tasks require items actually extracted from raids. Donating computer parts bought on the market does not count.
- Team tasks can be completed in a squad, so bring a friend and finish them in one run.
Check the exact mode and map named in the task. Many tasks specify Valley normal or Distorted Valley, and doing the right activity in the wrong mode wastes the run.
A weekly plan
- Clear the weekly mission board after the reset.
- Knock out two or three seasonal campaign tasks during raids you were running anyway.
- Save market and donation tasks for a single trip to the trader and the market.
- Track which tasks share a map and batch them.
Mission mistakes, from campaign tasks to extracted loot
- Ignoring campaign tasks because one looks impossible. Most are a single raid.
- Donating market-bought items to a task that requires extracted loot.
- Running the wrong mode and losing the run’s progress.
The campaign is also the fastest levelling path, which the level up fast page ranks against raiding; the battle pass page covers the seasonal track that runs beside it.
