What you’re actually looking for
Every Battlefield 6 campaign collectible is a Dog Tag. They’re small, and they don’t glow. Most sit on boxes, counters and tables, or hang off a knife stuck in a wall or poster.
Roughly three or four sit in each of the nine missions, for thirty in total.
The good news: none of them are missable. Anything you walk past can be picked up later through mission replay, so there’s no reason to restart a mission mid-run.
How to sweep a mission without a video
Most tags sit slightly off the critical path. The habit that finds them:
- Clear the room, then check the room’s corners before you move on.
- Look at eye level and below it — tables, counters, crates, ledges.
- Check walls for a knife or a poster before leaving an interior.
- When the objective tells you to go somewhere, walk the side route first.
They’re deliberately placed where a player rushing wouldn’t look, so a single slow pass beats three fast ones.
Why bother
Collecting them feeds campaign trophies, and some rewards carry into multiplayer. Which ones is worth checking in-game, because EA hasn’t laid out a neat public list of the exact unlocks.
If you’re hunting for the completion rather than the rewards, run missions in order and tick the table off as you go.
If one refuses to spawn
Mission replay is the safety net, but it works best when you replay the whole mission rather than dropping back in at a checkpoint. Some tags sit before the objective you’re thinking of, not after it.
Replay the mission from the start, sweep as you go, and check the collection counter on the pause menu before you quit out mid-mission.
Running it alongside everything else
The campaign is the quickest way to learn weapon handling before you touch multiplayer, and the beginner guide picks up from there. If you’re chasing unlock speed rather than collectibles, the leveling guide is the more direct route.
