Brakkesh Extraction Points: Exit Framework

Plan Brakkesh extractions by picking two exits before looting, and treat street crossings as the dangerous part of any route.

In Brakkesh, the extraction is not a place — it is a route across a city full of windows. Two squads can hold the same exit idea and only one makes it out, because the difference is which streets they had to cross and whether they watched them. Build the habit of choosing exits before looting, and Brakkesh stops feeling random.

Choose two exits at spawn

  1. Open the map and find the extraction points. Note which look always-open and which carry activation conditions; conditions vary by season, so verify in-game at raid start.
  2. Mark the closest exit and a backup roughly opposite it.
  3. Loot on a line that keeps at least one exit reachable without crossing the map.

A single marked exit is a single point of failure. If it gets camped, your only options are fighting for it or abandoning the bag.

Street-crossing discipline

The rules from the loot page apply double on extraction runs:

  • Watch before you cross, every time, even on the street you crossed ten minutes ago.
  • Cross staggered, not in file.
  • Smoke the crossing if the far side has windows you cannot check.
  • If you hear gunfire near your exit, do not arrive at a gallop. Arriving slow lets you hear who is winning.

Timing rules

  • Extract when bag value beats kit cost. In Brakkesh’s dense loot, that threshold arrives early — honor it.
  • The period right after a big fight dies down is both the safest window and the most common trap: players loot “one more building” exactly when three squads are rotating toward the gunfire.
  • Do not stand on an extraction point waiting for teammates while exposed. Move to cover and make the call.
  • If your bag is full and one exit is hot, take the far exit. Bag value is only real once you are out.

Engagement decisions on the way out follow the same tree as everywhere: when to fight or avoid. Loot-line planning is in Brakkesh loot routes, and the generic extraction principles in Zero Dam extraction points still apply. New to Hazard Operations entirely? Start with the first-raid checklist. Exit conditions are rebalanced between seasons, so confirm the timer and any cost on the raid’s own map screen before you commit to a route that depends on them.
