Hunt: Showdown How to Make Money (2026)
Hunt Dollars come from clues, banishments and bounty extracts; Blood Bonds from accolades and weekly challenges. Rebuild your bankroll after a bad hunt.
Hunt’s economy is built around loss — you are expected to lose hunters, and money comes easy once you extract consistently. The mistake is gear fear: hoarding good gear instead of using it. Cheap, effective loadouts and a steady extraction habit beat hoarding every time.
Hunt Dollars (your main currency)
You earn Hunt Dollars from objectives — clues, boss kills, banishes, extracting bounties — plus looting hunters, cash registers, and match bonuses (solo vs team). Some rewards (like clue bonuses) pay even if you die; most value is only secured if you extract alive. Dying earns you nothing, so extraction is the only way to keep what you farmed.
Blood Bonds (cosmetic and peripheral only)
Blood Bonds are not power — they buy skins, roster slots and re-specs. You earn them from your five best accolade cards (1 per bronze, 2 per silver, 3 per gold; max 15 per match), a golden cash register (50), the weekly challenge (25, repeatable via prestige), up to 600 from Trials mode, and up to 850 from Training missions. They are lost if you cannot extract — and the amount is low enough that buying them is usually not worth it.
Rebuild paths after a bad hunt
- Free hunters — a built-in safety net when your bankroll is empty.
- Budget loadouts — Winfield M1873C ($35–$56) and Romero 77 ($34) cost almost nothing to replace, so deaths sting less.
- Workbenches — spawn either a blueprint (random unlock) or gun oil (next variant of the weapon you hold). Expensive unlocks can be sold for a decent amount of Hunt Dollars.
- Weapon progression — using a weapon unlocks its variants and grants a free copy you can sell or save.
- Twitch Drops — Supply Crates (up to 22 per campaign) grant weapons, tools, consumables and a random amount of Hunt Dollars.
The judgment that matters
The economy rewards consistent extraction, not hoarding. Run cheap loadouts, learn the maps, and let the free-hunter safety net plus workbench unlocks refill your stash. Hunt Dollars left unspent make no difference; spend them on loadouts you enjoy and keep playing.
