Hunt: Showdown Soul Survivor Tips
Soul Survivor is solo free-for-all with nothing but a knife at the start. Loot fast, stay quiet, and be the last Hunter standing. A survival guide for the loneliest mode.
You start with nothing
Soul Survivor drops you in with a knife and makes you loot weapons from the map while every other solo Hunter does the same. The soul survivor page covers the mode; the first lesson is that the opening minute is a race to gear up before someone gears up on you.
Quiet is survival
With no team to watch your back, every noise you make is a beacon. The solo guide covers lone-Hunter discipline; in Soul Survivor it is the only discipline, because there is no one to bail you out of a bad fight. Move between compounds through grass, not roads.
Pick fights you can win
Engaging the first sound you hear is how you die early. Let others fight, loot the corpses, and enter the final circles armed from their losses. The pvp tips page helps you win the fights you do take.
Use the shrinking ring
The play area closes over time, forcing engagements. Position toward the center early so you are not running through open ground when the ring bites. A Survivor caught outside the ring is eliminated without a fight.
Loot the bodies, not the crates
In Soul Survivor the fastest gear is on the Hunters who died around you, and crates are slow and exposed. Sweep a fight after it ends and arm up from the losers before pushing the next sound. The solo guide covers the discipline that keeps a lone Hunter alive past the mid game.
The ring rewards the patient
Fighting early in Soul Survivor thins the field but exposes you, so let the first clashes happen without you and sweep the survivors. The pvp tips page covers winning the fights you do take. The last Hunter standing is usually the one who fought the fewest times.
