Space Marine 2 Requisition: What It Buys and What It Cannot

Requisition pays for perks, weapon upgrades and cosmetics, but a perk you have unlocked still needs paying for. Where it comes from and what to skip.

Where it comes from

Every completed Operation pays a flat amount by difficulty — 35 on Minimal up to 220 on Lethal, with Absolute above that. Siege pays Requisition inside the run for purchases and pays out again at the end, and community events sometimes bundle it with other rewards. Because the payout is flat per mission rather than per kill, the fastest Requisition per hour is the fastest mission you can complete reliably, not the hardest one you can survive. That is the same conclusion as the gear argument, which is convenient: efficient play and safe play point the same direction. The difficulty table has the exact figures.

The three sinks

Class perks. The main sink, and the one that changes how a class plays. Core, Team, and Signature perks are the difference between a Tactical that marks targets and one that deletes them. Weapon quality upgrades. Upgrades need both Armoury Data and Requisition, so a weapon wall is often really a currency wall. See Armoury Data for the other half. Cosmetics. Heraldry, armour pieces, and chapter colours. Permanent, and irrelevant to performance.

The order that wastes least

Pick one class. Level it, pay for its key perks, and push one weapon as high as your difficulty allows. Only then start a second class. Spreading Requisition across all seven classes produces the specific failure where every loadout feels weak — you own half a build in five directions and a complete build in none. Since Operations squads are class locked, the practical answer is two classes, not seven: your main plus one backup in case your main is taken. The class overview explains which pairings cover each other’s gaps.

Requisition is not Accolades

Two currencies, two shops, two different jobs. Requisition buys perks, upgrades, and cosmetics. Accolades are earned from Stratagems, weekly Siege and PvP rewards, community events, and Twitch drops, and they buy Heroic weapons and Heroic armour from the Refinement and Redemption shop on the Battle Barge. Accolades have a hold cap and cannot be bought, which means hoarding them is a mistake — if you are near the cap when a weekly reward lands, the overflow is discarded. Spend before the reset, not after.

The honest summary

Requisition is not a grind you can shortcut; it is a budget you allocate. One class, one weapon, the perks that matter, then expand. Everything else is a purchase you will not notice in a mission.
