How to Earn Fans in THE FINALS (Season 12)

Every Fans source in THE FINALS Season 12 — match actions, Sponsor Signature Plays, events — and how Fans now drive World Tour rank.

Fans are the Season 12 replacement for World Tour points. Every World Tour rank now climbs on Fans instead of the old point totals, which means the question “how do I earn Fans fast” is really “how do I rank up fast.” There are three sources, and two of them are passive if your Sponsor matches how you play.

The three Fans sources

Positive actions in ordinary matches. Playing the objective, helping your team, eliminating contestants — the standard stuff of a normal Cashout earns Fans on its own. Progress counts across Ranked Cashout, Cashout and Quick Play, so no mode is wasted.

Your current Sponsor’s Signature Plays. Each sponsor acknowledges a specific style: OSPUZE pays for elimination streaks, headshots, mid-air eliminations and arena destruction; ALFA ACTA pays for mine and turret eliminations, protecting teammates and fortifying; ISEUL-T’s list lives in its Sponsor menu. The critical catch — Signature Plays only pay Fans while that sponsor is your active one. OSPUZE headshots earn nothing if you re-signed with ALFA ACTA for the session. The sponsor comparison shows which badge fits which style.

Seasonal events. Event participation contributes Fans alongside its own rewards, like the Frights Galore Halloween contracts running at Season 12 launch.

The part most players get wrong

Signing with a sponsor whose Signature Plays don’t match your playstyle. If you spend the match reviving and holding angles but wear OSPUZE, you’re banking only the generic match Fans and leaving the sponsor bonus on the table. Sign with the brand that pays for what you already do — that’s the entire optimization.

The second mistake is mode-related but mild: grinding one mode out of habit. All three progression modes count, so you can chase Fans inside Solo Showdown sessions or ranked queues without switching anything on.

What Fans actually buy you

World Tour progression. The seasonal ladder runs six ranks of four tiers, and Fans are its currency now — the old 2,400-point Emerald calculator from Season 11 is retired and nothing official has published the new thresholds. Expect rank-up rewards to matter most for players chasing the battle pass and seasonal cosmetics, since the ladder and the pass reward showing up, not winning every match.

A practical session loop

Before queueing: confirm your active Sponsor matches tonight’s role, and confirm the right Challenge is selected — only the active one moves. During matches: play normally; if you signed the right brand, your normal game generates both Fans and Challenge progress. After matches: claim finished Challenges from the Sponsor screen, since an unclaimed reward is just progress sitting still.

The Sponsors guide covers the Challenge system in full, including how switching sponsors preserves progress.
