THE FINALS Limited-Time Events: Tickets, Wheels, and Drops
How THE FINALS limited-time events work: Event Tickets from daily contracts, the prize wheel, Twitch Drops, and what expires when the event ends
Limited-time events are the biggest free cosmetic source in THE FINALS, and they run on a ticket system that punishes hoarding. Here is how the current event structure works and how to squeeze it dry.
Event Tickets
Events run on Event Tickets, a temporary currency. You earn them from daily contracts during the event, up to three per day. Tickets cannot be carried between events. When the event ends, every unspent ticket resets to zero.
That means the optimal behavior is simple: log in daily, do the contracts, spend the tickets the same day. A player who hoards all week and spends on the last day gets the same total. A player who forgets the final day loses everything.
The prize wheel
The current event structure is a prize wheel with a pool of around twenty prizes. Spins consume tickets, and the pool includes outfits, weapon skins, and charms. The featured outfit sits in the pool at a low rate, so most players earn it late rather than early.
Twitch Drops
Events often run Twitch Drops alongside the in-game wheel. These require watching a participating stream with a linked account. Link your account before the event starts, because drops do not backdate.
Daily contracts
Contracts are the engine of the whole event. They pay tickets, and they also pay Fans, which feed Sponsor nodes and World Tour. A player who clears contracts daily during an event stacks tickets, Fans, and World Tour progress in the same ten minutes.
What does not change
Events do not touch ranked. Your league is unaffected, and event modes are separate from Ranked Cashout. Play the event for cosmetics, then go back to the ladder.
Event mistakes: tickets, contracts, and Twitch Drops
- Hoarding tickets past the event end.
- Missing a day of contracts and losing three tickets forever.
- Skipping Twitch Drops because the account was not linked.
Tickets and Show Tokens are different currencies with different expiry rules, and the Show Tokens page covers the permanent one.
Which of these routes is live changes each season, and the free cosmetics page tracks them together.
