Signature Plays in THE FINALS, Explained (Season 12)
What Signature Plays are in THE FINALS Season 12, every named example per sponsor, and the active-sponsor rule that decides whether they pay Fans.
Signature Plays are the Season 12 Sponsor Journey’s acknowledgment system: specific actions in a match that award Fans — and Fans now drive World Tour rank. Think of them as each sponsor’s taste in gameplay, made mechanical.
The rule that governs all of them
A Signature Play only pays Fans while its sponsor is your active Sponsor. This is the single fact that decides whether your session earns extra or not. You can switch sponsors freely and Challenge progress is saved, but a highlight-reel mid-air elimination earns zero sponsor Fans if ALFA ACTA is the badge you’re wearing. Check the Sponsor screen before queueing, every session.
Every named Signature Play so far
Embark’s launch notes give concrete examples for two sponsors and describe the third:
| Sponsor | Named examples |
|---|---|
| OSPUZE | Elimination streaks, headshots, mid-air eliminations, arena destruction |
| ALFA ACTA | Mine and turret eliminations, protecting teammates, fortifying positions |
| ISEUL-T | No complete public list — inspect its Sponsor menu; its challenge text points to dramatic entrances and timed disappearances |
That table is the launch state, not the ceiling. Signature Plays expand when you complete certain Challenges — finishing sponsor content unlocks new ways for that brand to pay you. So the pool you have today is the starter set.
What each sponsor’s list tells you
OSPUZE’s list is a fragger’s scoreboard: streaks, headshots, aerials, and — the interesting one — arena destruction, which Season 12’s progressive building damage made both stronger tactically and more rewarded.
ALFA ACTA’s list is everything a scoreboard undervalues. Mine and turret kills, protection, fortification. If your contribution is usually measured in revives and denied pushes rather than eliminations, this is the badge that converts it to Fans.
ISEUL-T is the style pick. The brand’s own challenge text frames its ideal play as spectacle with control — enter dramatically, leave on your own terms. Its exact payouts weren’t published at launch, so its Sponsor menu is the source of truth.
How to actually farm them
Pick the sponsor that matches your role, not the rewards you like most — the per-sponsor breakdowns cover that choice. Then play your normal game: the point of the system is passive income from behavior you already have. The one active change worth making: if you run OSPUZE, lean into destruction with explosives or a Heavy sledge; if ALFA ACTA, bring the turret and denial gadgets that generate its kills for you.
New Signature Plays arrive from Challenges, so an evening of sponsor content is also an investment in a bigger passive Fan rate for the rest of the season.
