War Thunder Hard Trophies: Stunt Achievement Guide
Get trigger conditions, vehicle types, and combo plans for War Thunder's hardest achievements so you can stack kills in one match.
A small set of War Thunder achievements rewards not playing well but doing something specific and unlikely. Each has a trigger condition, a vehicle type that makes it realistic, and usually a partner achievement you can stack in the same match. Achievement text and thresholds change with updates, so verify each condition in-game before building an evening around it. The achievements overview places these in the wider system; this page is the workshop.
The stunt achievement table
| Achievement | Condition | Vehicle type that fits |
|---|---|---|
| But… how?! | Shoot down an aircraft with a tank cannon | AA vehicles and tanks with usable elevation |
| High-precision strike | Hit a target with a guided bomb at extreme range | Bombers with guided ordnance |
| Doomsday | Win a match you bombed with a nuclear weapon | Heavy bombers |
| Peaceful atom | Shoot down an aircraft carrying a nuclear weapon | Fighters and AA positioned early |
| Vengeful Spirit | Score a kill after your own destruction | Any vehicle; heavies and attackers fit best |
| Cold-Blooded | Score two kills while your vehicle burns | Heavies and hulls that survive fires |
| King of the Hill | Score five kills while contesting a capture point | Heavies and mediums that can hold a point |
| Dead Weight | Destroy a target being towed by a tow cable | Any gun vehicle near contested targets |
| Street Brawler | Score two kills within thirty seconds at under ten meters | Fast mediums and light brawlers |
| Size Doesn’t Matter | Destroy three destroyers in a small boat without losses | Small naval hulls with torpedoes |
| At one blow | Destroy five targets in one second | Bombers with large payloads |
Condition mechanics worth understanding
Timing windows. Vengeful Spirit, Cold-Blooded, Street Brawler, and At one blow all happen inside a short window, so engagement choice matters more than vehicle choice: you need a fight already in progress, at the demanded range, with your firing solution ready. The heavy tank role and SPAA role pages cover the vehicle families these conditions assume.
Combo stacking. Several conditions share a setup, which is where the efficiency lives:
| Setup | Achievements in play |
|---|---|
| Heavy tank holding a capture point | King of the Hill plus Cold-Blooded if the hull burns |
| Brawler pushing into a close-range fight | Street Brawler plus Vengeful Spirit if the trade goes both ways |
| AA vehicle engaging low-flying aircraft | But… how?! plus Peaceful atom if a nuclear carrier appears |
| Naval small-boat torpedo run into a group | Size Doesn’t Matter plus At one blow on a well-timed salvo |
Air and naval dependencies. High-precision strike and Doomsday belong to the bomber role; guided-bomb and close-attack variants sit closer to the attacker role; Peaceful atom wants the early-intercept habits of an air lineup; Size Doesn’t Matter wants naval positioning. Every stunt achievement is easier in a vehicle you already fly or sail well, which makes the stunt layer a project for established players, not new accounts.
The honest framing
Chase these one at a time, in vehicles you enjoy, after confirming conditions in-game. Chasing all of them at once is how players spend a week in vehicles they hate for badges they will forget. One condition, one vehicle, one evening: that is the pace that finishes the layer.
