Best Apex Legends for Each Map in Season 30

World's Edge, Storm Point and E-District reward different legends. Which picks fit each map's fights, and why the map decides the pick.

The same legend is not equally good on every map. The current ranked core pool — World’s Edge, Storm Point, E-District — has three distinct fight templates, and the right pick follows the map, not the tier list.

World’s Edge — vertical, industrial, now night-time

Fights happen on rooftops, around Sorting Factory, and through tight POIs. You want mobility and high-ground control.

  • Pathfinder / Octane — grapple and stim own vertical rotations and quick resets.
  • Revenant / Ash — aggressive dive kits that punish teams stuck in tight sightlines.
  • Bloodhound — scans cut through the night-visibility changes and pre-aim pushes.

Storm Point — largest map, vehicles, wildlife

Long rotations and Prowlers/Spiders/Flyers mean survival on traverses matters more than raw dive speed.

  • Pathfinder / Octane — again, the only legends that reliably cross the map fast.
  • Vantage / Crypto — recon that spots rotations across open terrain.
  • Avoid legends whose value is purely a tight-close dive; you’ll spend more time walking than fighting.

E-District — dense, urban, close-quarters

This is the closest thing to a CQB map in the pool. SMG/shotgun kits and crowd control win.

  • Ballistic / Ash — aggressive kits that delete teams in tight rooms.
  • Revenant — silence plus dive is brutal in close loops.
  • Bloodhound — scans still matter, but the fights are faster, so pair it with a mobile duo.

The principle

Pick for the fight the map creates, then check the tier list for who is strong inside that role this season. A B-tier legend that fits the map beats an S-tier legend fighting uphill.
