ARC Raiders Map Conditions: Minor, Major and ARC Ops

Conditions rewrite a map's difficulty and loot before the raid starts. What minor events, major conditions and ARC Operations each change.

Minor conditions

Minor conditions add an event and bias the loot pool. They are the reason a map you know can suddenly be worth a detour.

  • Beachcombing (Riven Tides) buries trinkets in the sand; a Dockmaster’s Detector is what surfaces them.
  • Bird City (Buried City) gathers flocks on chimneys, and nests are the point of the event.
  • Lush Blooms makes plants and fruit thrive, so gathering routes open up.
  • Prospecting Probes sends guarded ARC probes down en masse — more targets, more parts.
  • Husk Graveyard leaves dead ARC machines scattered on the surface, which is the best parts-and-information window in the game.
  • Uncovered Caches exposes old Raider caches that are rigged to blow if left out too long. Speed beats thoroughness here.
  • Launch Tower Loot locks a pile of somebody’s earnings at the top of the tower and thickens the defence around it.
  • Harvester and Matriarch both drop a named large ARC onto the map with a guard detail. Some trials and quest steps only complete while a specific minor condition is live, so if a quest has stalled, check the rotation before assuming the objective is bugged.

Major conditions

Major conditions change the atmosphere and hand you a new mechanic.

  • Night Raid darkens the map, puts better loot behind locked doors, spawns more keys, and attracts more ARC. It also runs with no active Raider Hatches.
  • Electromagnetic Storm batters the surface with lightning and switches every Raider Hatch off.
  • Hurricane strips extraction options and removes hatches. Dam Battlegrounds, normally a mid-tier map, becomes one of the hardest places in the game under it. That last pair is the practical warning: if your plan depends on a hatch, a storm turns your key into dead weight. The Raider Hatch rules are worth reading before you commit.

ARC Operations

ARC Operations is the third form — a structured variant rather than weather. Treat it as its own difficulty setting: the map is the same, the raid is not.

How to read the schedule

The rotation is published per region, with an active list, an upcoming window for each condition, and a countdown. Schedules are offset so each region’s peak hours get a prime condition, and the map select screen shows your matchmaking region. Set the schedule to that region before planning. Not every condition runs every hour, and some leave the rotation entirely for a stretch. The rating on the select screen describes the normal map only — Lush Blooms takes Riven Tides from the hardest surface map down to starter-difficulty, and the reverse is true of Dam under Hurricane. Check the banner, then pick the kit. The map ladder explains which maps sit where in the first place.
