ARC Raiders Materials: What to Hoard, What to Sell

Not every material is worth a stash slot. Which ones feed crafting and upgrades, and which are just vendor weight.

Two kinds of value

Materials in ARC split into two groups: the ones your bench actually consumes, and the ones that only exist to be sold. Treating them the same is how players fill a stash with junk and then have no room for the loot that matters. The crafting guide explains which recipes are worth running. This page is about what to keep so those recipes are always open to you.

Keep the bench feeders

Certain common materials are used across the most useful recipes, especially ammunition and healing. These should never be sold, because running out mid-raid is the most annoying failure in the game and it is entirely avoidable. A modest, maintained stock of the bench feeders is better than a large pile of rare materials you never craft with.

Sell the one-use junk

Some materials only appear to have value because they are labelled rare. If no recipe you use needs them and a trader pays well, they are vendor weight, not treasure. The loot priority page frames the same idea from the raid side: take what the bench and the market want, and leave the rest for someone who mistakes rarity for usefulness.

Weight is the real limit

Every material in the bag is weight you cannot spend on loot. A stash full of material is a stash that cannot carry a good raid’s result home. Sell the surplus after every few raids. The bench does not need five stacks of anything, and the market does not care that you were saving it for a recipe you will never build.

Plan around station level

Higher workstation tiers unlock recipes that consume different materials. As your bench improves, what is worth keeping changes, so re-evaluate the stash when you upgrade rather than treating the old list as permanent. The players who progress fastest are the ones who treat materials as a flowing supply chain, not a collection.
