Destiny 2 Qua Nilus II: What It Is & How to Get It
Qua Nilus II is a mystery item players search for. Check Collections, Pursuits, Triumphs, and Xûr, then verify it's still obtainable.
Start with the simplest check, then work outward. Qua Nilus II is one of those item names that surfaces in search autocomplete. The fastest way to identify it is to let the game tell you. These four steps cover almost every case.
Step 1: Search Collections
Open Collections and type the full name. Every item you have ever unlocked is listed there, with its sources on the detail panel. If the name appears, read the source line. It tells you which activity drops the item and whether reacquisition is available. If it does not appear, move on — absence from Collections is itself useful information.
Step 2: Check Pursuits and Triumphs
Not every name in Destiny 2 is a piece of gear. Some belong to quests, triumphs, seals, or lore entries. Scan the Pursuits tab for active objectives, then check Triumphs for completed or hidden entries. If a quest has not been offered to you yet, no vendor or Director tile will show it until you meet the unlock condition.
Step 3: Check the weekly vendors
If the name belongs to an exotic or a catalyst, Xûr’s weekly inventory is the cheapest place to look. His stock rotates, so something that was not for sale last week might be there this week. Our Xûr guide explains how his inventory works and what the coins are best spent on.
Step 4: Verify it is currently obtainable
Destiny 2 rotates content. Some gear from older seasons still drops, some has moved to Collections-only, and some disappears entirely until Bungie brings it back. If the name does not exist in-game right now, the official site and patch notes are the only sources worth trusting. Bungie announces content returns through its weekly developer post and update notes, so those are the pages to watch.
Once you identify it
The chase gets simpler from there. Gear items follow the usual rules: farm the listed source, watch for focused loot windows, and only invest masterwork materials in a keeper. Our farm gear fast guide lists efficient farms, and the god rolls guide helps you judge whether a drop is worth keeping.
