Destiny 2 Spoils of Conquest: How to Farm Fast

How to farm Spoils of Conquest in Destiny 2: raid encounter repeats, weekly secret chests on three characters, and the solo Vow of the Disciple route.

Spoils of Conquest are a raid-only currency (cap 240) used to buy raid weapons — including red-border Deepsight versions for crafting and vaulted Exotics at the Monument to Lost Lights. There is exactly one source: raids. No Nightfalls, Gambit, or patrols drop them.

Where they come from

  • Encounter completions: modern raids — Vault of Glass, Vow of the Disciple, King’s Fall, Root of Nightmares, Crota’s End, and the newest raid — grant 5 Spoils per encounter. Legacy raids (Last Wish, Garden of Salvation, Deep Stone Crypt) grant 3.
  • Secret chests: most modern raids have mid-raid or soloable chests awarding 5 Spoils, once per week per character.
  • Featured raids are weekly-locked per class — you cannot rerun those encounters for more Spoils. Only non-featured modern raids can be checkpoint-farmed.

Fast group farm (highest per hour)

Loop the Templar encounter in Vault of Glass or the Daughters of Oryx in King’s Fall. The method: reach the encounter, have one player swap to an alt to hold the checkpoint, wipe to reset, clear it on the alt, then swap back and repeat. A coordinated team that one- or two-phases Templar can average about 5 Spoils every few minutes.

Solo / casual route (no fireteam)

Run secret chests you can reach alone. Vow of the Disciple’s opening chest is reachable solo — clear the Aspect of Savathun and the three Ogres, then shoot three triggers to spawn it — and the same chest exists on all three characters for a consistent ~15 Spoils per week with zero encounter clears. Vault of Glass has early chests too, but some need plate defense, so small groups are easier there.

You need 20 Spoils to buy a Deepsight (crafting) variant of a raid weapon from the end-of-raid vendor, so a steady 15/week solo is enough for one craft per week.

Spending

  • End-of-raid vendors — for example Cache of Kabr (Vault of Glass), Lubrae’s Ruin (Vow of the Disciple), Dreadnaught’s Riches (King’s Fall) — sell weapons you have already unlocked in Collections for 20 Spoils each.
  • Monument to Lost Lights sells vaulted Exotics such as Anarchy and Legend of Acrius for 240 Spoils plus their other costs.

FAQ

Can I get Spoils without raids? No — raids are the only source.

Best solo method? Vow of the Disciple secret chests on all three characters (~15 per week).

Should I farm the featured raid? No — featured encounters are weekly-locked. Farm a non-featured modern raid instead.
