D-Wolf Guide: Exo Sustain, Slide Timing, and Vehicles
Knockdowns refill his health and stretch the exoskeleton. How to chain that into slides, smoke pushes, and vehicle pressure.
D-Wolf (Kai Silva) is the Assault operator most squads should learn first. He is the only one who heals himself by winning fights, the only one who can slide, and the only Assault with both a fast entry and a self-sustaining loop.
That combination is why he shows up in almost every Warfare recommendation list. It is not a flavour pick — he is genuinely the most self-sufficient operator in the game, which matters enormously when your squad is not coordinated.
Sustain on knockdown
Motorized Exoskeleton overloads the suit’s power: faster sprint, higher rate of fire, on a timer.
Then the part that gets misreported elsewhere — knocking down an enemy restores health and stamina and extends the overload duration. This is his sustain, not Vyron’s. It is also the reason his engages should be aimed at targets he can finish, not at the healthiest body in the room. Every knockdown is a heal and a longer window.
Practical consequence: if you are low, do not disengage. Find a knockdown. His resource recovery is tied to aggression, which is the opposite of how most operators survive.
Triple Blaster angles
Triple Blaster is a hand-mounted three-round grenade launcher. The grenades stick to vehicles, which makes it a soft anti-armour tool as well as an infantry flusher.
The angles matter more than the damage. Fire it at the cover an enemy is holding so they have to move, or at the vehicle hull to force a repair cycle. Direct hits on infantry are rare against anyone paying attention; the grenades are a pressure tool.
Slide timing
Tactical Slide is unique to him. Sliding keeps momentum while dropping your profile, which does two useful things: it shortens the time a defender has to track you across a gap, and it gets you under the elevation most players pre-aim at.
Slide into cover, not into the open. A slide that ends in the middle of a lane is just a slower way to die.
Vehicle pressure
The overload’s fire-rate bonus applies to your weapon, and the Triple Blaster sticks. Against light vehicles and exposed crews that is a real threat; against a main battle tank it is not. Do not build a plan around killing armour alone — the kit pressures vehicles, it does not delete them.
When the exo is down
His whole loop is timer-based. Between overloads he is an ordinary Assault operator with faster aim movement and no self-heal. That window is when he should be reloading, repositioning, or throwing smoke for the squad — not opening a fresh fight.
The Tactical Smoke Grenade is short-lived but deploys almost instantly, which makes it the right tool for that downtime: cross a lane, reset the angle, and be ready when the exoskeleton is available again.
Pair him with a healer (Stinger) to cover the gaps, and with Tempest when you want two bodies through the same breach.
