Stinger Best Loadout and Role in Delta Force
Stinger is the Hive-Tech healer. How to build his healing loop, smoke-as-heal-field, and rescue priority into a squad.
Stinger (Roy Smee) is the Support operator whose entire kit keeps other people upright. Nothing in it grabs, dashes, or opens a flank — it heals at range, turns smoke into a healing field, and revives faster and fuller than anyone else. His loadout is about positioning and rescue order, not a weapon code.
This page covers how to build around that. For the full skill breakdown see the Stinger guide.
What the loadout must support
His healing is tactical gear, not a weapon slot, so your gun is pure self-defence.
- Weapon: a self-defence mid-range rifle. You should never be in a duel — your job is to not die while healing. A stable rifle that lets you break contact matters more than damage. The AUG build (stable, easy recoil) or M4A1 build suit a second-line healer. Avoid slow sniper setups that leave you exposed.
- Hive-Tech Pistol heals allied operators (several at once) and grants immunity while running. The loop is short: heal, reposition, heal again. Top up and move; do not stand to finish a full heal on someone already safe.
Smoke is your heal field
The Smokescreen UAV lays a steerable smoke wall, and the Hive-Tech Smoke Grenade turns that smoke into a healing cloud when you shoot it. The trade is real — visibility inside is worse than normal smoke — so use it to hold a wounded squad in place for a reset, not to push through.
Rescue priority
Quick Rescue sends the revived operator back with more health, and in Operations it removes the reduced-max-HP debuff. Revive the player with the most fight left, not the closest body. Check the in-game revive timer — if it will not finish before the enemy pushes, smoke first, revive second.
Squad pairing
For two-support squads, split the job:
- Vlinder (operator guide) owns timers and drone rescues.
- Toxik (operator guide) adds buffs when the squad needs them more than raw healing.
Stinger has no escape tool — if a duel starts close with no teammate near, break contact rather than out-shoot. Pair him with an entry operator like D-Wolf who creates the space he needs to heal safely.
