Helldivers 2 Enemy Armor Values: AV Chart and Weak Points
Helldivers 2 armor values: Trooper chest AV 1, Warrior AV 2, Devastator torso AV 3, Hulk faceplate AV 4, Tank front AV 5, Factory Strider AV 6.
How to read it
AV is the armor level of a specific body part, not the whole enemy. A Charger’s body is AV 5 across the board, but its rear and abdomen are unarmored (AV 0). The part you hit decides everything.
Terminids (bugs)
- Scavenger / Hunter — unarmored; any primary.
- Warrior — head shell AV 2 (light from the front, any from the sides).
- Brood Commander — legs Very Light, head and body AV 2.
- Hive Guard — frontal head shield AV 3; claws and legs Very Light.
- Bile Spewer — mouth and butt unarmored; head cap AV 3.
- Stalker — face and torso Very Light; cloaks and retreats at half health.
- Charger — body AV 5 except the exposed rear (unarmored); legs plated at AV 5. Anti-tank to the head one-shots; strip a leg’s plating and shoot the flesh.
- Bile Titan — head AV 5; two unarmored bile sacs. Recoilless, EAT-17, Railcannon, Precision Strike, 500kg, or 110mm Rocket Pods kill it.
- Impaler — head AV 5, exposed when it lifts to strike; body AV 5.
Automatons (bots)
- Trooper / Raider — chest AV 1; limbs AV 1.
- Devastator — face/eye sensor AV 1, torso frame AV 3.
- Hulk — frontal eye visor AV 4; rear radiator vent AV 0 (any weapon).
- Annihilator Tank — rear turret vent AV 3; front hull plating AV 5.
- Factory Strider — belly gatling bays AV 3; outer top hull plating AV 6 (needs Anti-Tank).
- Gunship — engines AV 3.
Illuminate
The Illuminate share the same AV framework — most ranked units are light to medium (AV 1–3) with a couple of heavier anchor units — but their exact values are the least stable across patches, so treat them as “aim for the glowing or unarmored spot” rather than memorizing numbers.
The universal rule
No matter the faction, the play is the same: if you see a blue ricochet, you are hitting high AV. Move your aim to the unarmored joint, vent, or sac, or switch to a higher-AP tool. The durable damage page explains the second layer that decides how much of your landed hit actually lands once penetration succeeds.
