KCD2 For Victory Feast: Johanka or Black Bartosch

Johanka of Zhernov

Johanka sits at the table beside Father Nicodemus. Speak with her and pick the dialogue option with the easiest skill check to pass — the one that lets you recount what happened and convince her. Choose the scarier framing (“They chased us into the rocks”) when offered, and continue until you reach the intimate moment. Johanka is a one-time encounter; it does not become a continuing relationship.

Black Bartosch

Bartosch is in the training yard. Train with him and exhaust his dialogue, then during the feast find him leaning against the wall. Say “I reckon I know what you’re getting at” and accept his invitation (“Shall we spend the rest of the evening alone?”). As with Johanka, Henry falls asleep afterward.

The exclusivity

The game does not warn you that these two are mutually exclusive. After you spend the evening with one, Henry sleeps and the other’s opportunity is closed. If both matter to you, you must reload a save from before the feast to take the other — there is no in-game way back. This is separate from the Hans-versus-Katherine ending lock covered on the Hans romance page; the feast pair is its own, earlier decision.

Practical advice

Finish the feast’s side activities — the wine errand for Hans, the ring theft, dice with Bailiff Hanko — before you commit to either encounter, because once Henry dozes off the evening is over. If you are aiming for a specific partner, do that conversation last. The romance overview places Johanka and Bartosch among every other option and notes this is the only hard lock at the feast.
